A perfect idea. Finnaly a functional cargo train station that can handle several trucks. To bad the trucks often (or rather allways) get stuck. Anyone else have any idea why the trucks get stuck and cant get out?
This idea is something the devs should had made a long time ago.

This seems to be the only asset that could handle a large number of trucks. Unfortunately it has 2 dependencies that keep me from subscribing to it:
- [Obsolete] Modern Lighting Pack: Liberated!
- Network Extensions 2

I think both could be replaced relatively easy. I certainly know that the NEXT2 roads were redone as individual network types.

Will keep an eye on it, maybe in the future it will get updated.

Airports you can build your own with as many "ports" like you want.

Works perfectly in my city, having a LHD and a RHD in the centre of my map, each train line connected to only one counter station. It is the only 4 plus lines trainstation which supported in my map actually export AND import at these multi-line stations on each line.
Therefore brilliant proof of concept. Now it needs aesthetically some fine tuning since it's only four lines with four straight one way roads next to it, trainstation tracks are minimalistic, trucks spawning the wrong way around in sheds, which are half on the roads. So this should become a blank set to be filled with props by the gamer or alternatively enhanced with better placed and better looking buildings.
Btw: Building Anarchy is not required, instead Fine Road Anarchy is the mod required for placing these stations.
These stations are recommended!

In the video we can see that train station can spawn trains but not single one train arrived to unload. I hope it works :) Also I have one visual idea. It would be much better to use some large building instead of container you know hide the ugly process of trucks spawning/despawning under that shopping cart vanilla roof while clipping through it.

so when i add this to the game in eds its doent show out going trucks or radias for transporting, i see it receives freight very well but dont generate out going freight to city like the original station so is this just a missing anamation thing or should i add something to send freight back to city

Cant build on to track nearest the building, "space already occupied" no matter which angle I use. Am I missing a hidden mod requirement? I have the truck terminal, building anarchy and network extensions 2.

@Future yeah the asset editor only works with a few mods. most of the ones that make it freak out are graphics mods (Ulitmate EyeCandy, Relight etc). Really all you need are Move It, Find it, and a couple others...

@Kaybs I'll see if it works. I can't use the asset editor because some sort of mod will make it stuck on loading (even with the Loading Screen Mod) and make a gigantic output log (24gb +)

@future You could try editing it in the Asset Editor but you may not get the result you're after. I have tried contacting the author about this, but have had no luck (see my comments below)

@future That is because the station tracks are way too short. They should be as long as your longest train (but no longer than 28 units)

sometimes it spawns trains that are trying to transport cargo to itself?

it seems like some of the 'Loading docks' on the Quad Core Cargo Station have the incoming and outgoing traffic will block itself. is there a fix?

testing the TM:PE workaround more, and its not right. The station needs the ability to switch trains over between tracks so it can reuse trains properly. In order for this not to cause train jams under heavy load, the station tracks need to be much longer - ideally the length of a train.

Love this station! A couple of suggestions - the Title of the station doesn't come through on trains that it owns. When I click on a train, the tool tip for the train says its owner is something like "BUILDING_TITLE[1869298756.Truck Terminal_Data]:0" Can this be fixed? Also, there are some issues when heavy loads of trains are being both sent and received - sometimes the trains spawn on the wrong tracks and get stuck. I think TM:PE can solve this by specifying lane selections, as a workaround though, so no worries on that one. Would be great if we could get the building title bug fixed? Love your work! Keep it up!

Hi. Huge.. good looking station. But in your video, I only ever see trains spawn and leave -from- this setup. Does it also receive cargo trains? It didn't seem to.

Great train station. Only flow is, that the building somehow thinks its to transport people and not cargo, even the trains and everything is related to cargo. Beside of this, nice work

Nice MOD, However I can't get the trucks to go to more than a single lane, even with forced lane connections. Thoughts?

It's a great asset and it works very nice for the trucks. However when trains start to roll in everything gets stuck...Trains are waiting from the edge of the map towards the cargo station. Maybe you should make the stations longer so that longer trains fit in to it. When I build railroads myself the switches are way to close to each other, so trains get stuck there...

This is one of my oldest assets made while I was new to asset creation. I will revisit it someday to update it - with fewer dependencies and better performance.

I was trying to build this in my city but after the building anarchy mod got error, it is no way to build the station. I had tried to build it next to a road but as the building contain a road, it always show the space was occupy. can you just remove the out road?

You might need to restrict lane connections on the toll using traffic manager president edition.

@whisperwalk Thanks for you contribution. These are very nice assets. I put Truck Terminal into asset editor and understand what you want to do. Can you directly share a version that conclude an entrance with train track?
But when I use them in game, trucks still go to the nearest terminal entrance, making others useless. Even if I add toll station like you and use TM.PE to force them unable to change lanes, it doesn't work. It confused me. Hope you can give me some advice.

@RichHomieNinja works best with MOVE IT and the building anarchy plug in for move it. then you can just plug rails onto the inner rail end thats half "in" the building.

DO NOT move the nodes of the asset (like stretching tham out with move it)! If you "bridge" the ... lets call them "ware pathes" between the building and the 4 rails it will eat all your trucks but wont spawn trains.

Use Move it plus anarchy plug-in and just connect your rails.

With the "specific train spawn" it might be the same like with the cargo ship hubs. There i can say what ship to spawn but also not what train asset to use.
