There are some conflicts with the mod do to Shared/UnitCreation that literally overwrites or outright blocks other mods from functioning in respect to units. I love this mod and love the twist it brings to the social policy trees but this issue makes the other unit related and promotion mods i use unusable. If there is a way to modify the load order or modify the way in which the Unit Creation promotion works it would be very grateful. The primary problem is with _Gaia's mod and her mods promotion tree, as well as training grounds.

Hey just saying, I cannot open the social policy as soon as the culture points are enough to purchase policy. Might fix this or tell me the solution for this bug at least. Cheers.

this mod has a conflict with enhanced user interface,i cant see detailed info on the leader on the top right anymore,can you fix it?

Also, I've edited some of the yields for this mod just for me and my friends to play and I have a problem editing the text for the opener and finishers. Anyway to get around that? For example, I gave piety a +2 faith boost in the opener instead of a +1 and it works but my edit to the text on the social policy screen didn't take effect. Still says +1 faith in capital

Any way to make liberty and tradition mutually exclusive? It's just so much more worth it to got down both instead of going down middle policies like patronage, commerce, or aesthetics.

Best thing about this mod is the 250 science for a general... race to get general as fast as you can then set up by a barbarian encampment and let them capture the general and immediately recapture it... early game gives a ridiculous advantage over the AI.

Awesome mod. Only change I would make: make terrace farms also give science in "Rural Resettlement." I might try to make that change myself.

After playing some games with this mod, the ideologies are incredibly underpowered. Order offers no practical bonuses at all. Many of the bonuses from the other social trees completely outshine any ideological component.

I guess "Utopian Socialism" should be renamed to "Red Tourism". It is in the level 3 tenet of the Order tree. The reason is that China have actively supported red tourism last 2005 to promote the national ethos and socioeconomic development in those areas, especially rural and poorer areas. This is mainly that China has its historical significance to Chinese socialism to rekindle their long-lost sense of class struggle and proletarian principles.

This was last updated in 2014 but I still have a problem with it. In the new Order tree, a level 3 tenant is "utopian socialism". Utopian socialism refers to pre-marxist socialist movements, who wanted to do stuff like buy land in the woods somewhere and build a commune there, and then socialism will spread on it's own, or something. It doesn't belong in the tree that's supposed to portray "stalinism"(which by the way, doesn't exist, but whatever).

Hidden Sites are now unlocked by the level 2 Autocracy tenet "Imperial Legacy". A nod to Italian fascism valorization of ancient Rome.

All is neat in this mod... except for one tiny detail:

Exploration Finisher doesn't unlock Hidden Sites anymore! O__O!

Can you pleas fix this?

Eragon, I would recommend clearing your cache. Delete everything in (Documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache). If that doesn't resolve the issue, try redownloading the mod (unsubscribe and resubscribe) or verifying your civilization 5 install via steam.

I tried to use the mod. As soon as I started the game I didn't have a settler or warrior, autolost, & then when I went back to the title screen it would disable the mod. I am playing with all the Civ 5 DLCs and no mods except this one. Any tips?

Not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for in the lua log? Regardless, I think I've identified part of the problem, which I forgot to mention before: I've been playing on a Mac. I tried out this mod on a Windows and the 6 turn wonder proc'd correctly. I ran the exact same cocktail of mods on my windows as I have on the mac. Going to try reinstalling this mod on my Mac. Will update if I find anything, but in the meanwhile please do tell me what you're looking for in the lua.log or if this cannot work properly on a mac.

Forlorn, the 6 turn Golden Age should only happen when a Great Prophet or Writer is born. Not when the policy is acquired.

If that doesn't match what you've seen, are you using other mods that change Social Policies or add unique unit Great People? Is there an error in your lua.log when you get a Great Person while having Mandate of Heaven?

Fantastic mod, one of the best ones on here. However, I believe there is a bug in the piety tree. First choice on the left, Mandate of heaven does not operate as described. 6 turn golden ages do not happen, and second bonus belief of secondary religion does not happen either.

What game speed are you playing on wolf? Lump sum rewards are scaled based on game speed.

Sorry for spamming. I solved my problem as reloading all mods again. Now, all finisher bonuses do work. Thanks for the mod.

I am not using any policy changer mod right now, none of finisher bonuses don't work, I didn't try them all. Liberty, Tradition, Honor, Aesthetics and Rationalism finishers definitely don't work. If this problem is only for me, then I should check my file integrity, maybe reload the mod. But I've read somewhere below, someone had mentioned similar issues.

How exactly do you unlock the finisher for ideologies? I saw finishers for each in the world builder mod but the bonuses dont seem to work.

Well, scratch that. Although it seemed to work at first, the mod does not seem to work for me when loading any saved game anymore.

As far as I can tell after brief testing, this is not compatible with the Smoky Skies Steampunk Sandbox mod. When I load a saved game (where I used these two mods), the game resets to the default BNW policies.

Machiavelli : I've been wondering this for a while but when you take the *Rationalism Opener* does the Culture you get from letting the city population grow only apply to total *Culture Pool* that you use for buying next policy or does the effect aslo apply to your *Natural Border Growth*.

Example : You have *Ordained Priesthood* and the *Rationalism Opener* now your buying a Missionary in a city that a Public School. Does the 25 Culture from that purchase only add +25 Culture to your total Culture pool or does this also apply to the *Natural *Border Growth* as well ?

Onkel, this mod require Brave New World. If you are having trouble getting it to download, sometimes the workshop will have issues. Unsubscribing and resubscribing while Civ5 is running can force it to download the mod. If that doesn't work you can try the alternative download link at CivFanatics.
