Will there Be Any other Boons Or Events pretaining to this? Or Perhaps the Invading china mechanic can be reused here as a sort of "Early Colonization" type idea.

@Rafard23 Surely you can key in "set_offmap_policy offmap_mexikha mexikha_isolationist" in the console to disable it for a while. Or you can try defeat them since they are actually weaker than the Mongols, due to light infantry composition and the reinforcers are pre-scripted.

Is there a way to reduce the number of spawned units for the aztecs? Them getting 100k+ free troops is getting really OP and it feels cheap.

@Teoctlamazqui: You are allowed to use my scripts for a submod creation. As for graphic/localization assets I suggest you ask the original author I listed in the credit block for a permission.

Yeah holy order, that's WAD. I make Mexikha work like State of the Teutonic Order, so player should try hard for escaping to freedom. Not playing as a tame guy protected by offmap power, like China Protectorate.
The bug is you're actually holy order government under a holy order liege, not longer feudal. It's a display bug long unfixed in vanilla game.

Making myself a vassal of the Aztecs (not a tributary) made me unable to marry my ruler to anybody, for whatever reason, even though my government as a vassal was still feudal. As far as I can tell, it's because of how buggy holy orders are.
For example; the Aztec ruler still marries and has children, but I can't interact with them through the marriage options whatsoever. I can't betroth their children to anybody in my court even if I'm the same faith, etc.

What unplayable? Pagan theocracies can marry normally, it just does not pass down claims to descendants. Not the whole world play game in frankish feudalism. I don't understand what's not functional. It's all theocracy thing under an holy_order gov. empire, as all you can have in a vanilla game.

Choices like making the Aztecs theocracies makes marriage weird and sometimes impossible for vassal playthroughs, for some reason. It makes a lot of things functionally unplayable by softlocking your dynasty before it can make heirs.

Is it possible for a version without the new cultural graphics? It really messes up with other mods I have, and it's frankly a feature I've tried removing on my own, but I've never done much with that section of modding so now I just have all of the pagans using christian gfx

So I see this mod changes a lot about the Aztecs with their name changing like china's every new ruler, but i gotta ask, how does this affect conversion to EU4?

@Sunkawakan, It's not possible to be compatible without removing aztec CoAs.
You can either remove all aztec CoA related files in this mod to use Patrum Scuta, or trying to merge them.

Really cool mod @Chitose, I like the how it blends some of China mechanics and makes the Aztecs a richer experience to interact with in game. However, I noticed that it does not seem to be compatible with the "Patrum Scuta" mod- no idea why. Let me know if you decide to make it compatible, and keep up the good work :).

@Zukov, thanks for your nice feedback.
2) Making dynamic invasion target province is possible, however it would be a bit weird(e.g skip whole England but invading Antwerp) so I cancel that function, it was there.
3) Trade route involving map modding, which is harms to compatibility. But without map modding the triangle trade route is crapped. It's hard to take decision and it was removed in last update.
4) The nahuatls have already got Mayan/Inca/Norse/Zoroastrian denmark(fantasy)/China(fantasy) invasion status with Toltec/Aztec/(10+ native tribe uprising) possibilities, try them all!

i need to tell few things: first of all thank you for making this great mod, i enjoy it very much 2) it would be nice to lunch invasion on aztec under certain conditions (hght shipbuilding etc.) 3) suport of aztec enemies (like north america indians 3) trade routes 4) aztec off map status like war with inca and invasion and north indian tribes (as it was implied in original sunset invasion)/ mayan/toltec uprising. thank you for your hard good work

I'm running Jade Serpent alongside a bunch of other mods, and my game crashes when the Aztecs arrive (I think, since it happens within the first month and I'm on Random).

Where should I start looking to solve the problem? ie. what files are concerned with their initial arrival?

I'm aware it didn't happen, what I meant was that I would not complain if t was implemented. In fact, I would enjoy it. But if it's not implemented, it's understandable. And great mod btw. You really gave more "life" to an otherwise silly dlc

For non-Aztec followers, what if you could break the Aztec Empire? Using the normal invasion mechanics, you could challenge the Aztecs themselves IF there are no Aztec-owned counties anywhere on the Map. If you succeed, the Aztec Empire is destroyed and a COLONY, with your pretender on the viceroyalty throne, is created with your religion and all else. It has no mechanics or features other than sending you MAD DOSH and providing trade. If possible, the EU4 converter also causes it to become a small colony starting in Mexico.

The Aztec invasion is silly, but the Aztecs themselves are depicted as historically accurate as one can get in a fantasy scenario. There is no logical or mechanical way to put a non-Aztec on the Triple Alliance throne.

That said, no one said anything about putting a <I>different</I> Aztec on there. If putting your man on the Aztec throne is your goal, what about making that an option solely if you follow the Aztec religion itself? You and your pretender would have to follow the Aztec religion and, if you succeed, your chosen heir's kids will all be culturally Nahuatl instead of whatever European culture it is.
