This is epic
playing him in rivals feels amazing but i find myself playing in a very campy way; if there's any way to create experience/ammo pickups similar to shovel knight's treasure mechanic, I think that would help to combat promoting a campy playstyle. having to come into close range of your enemies to receive experience/ammo rather than spamming from a distance is much more engaging and adds risk to the reward. the missiles are borderline busted at level three without a punishment for spamming them and i think you could get around that by making the player take their shots carefully by conserving ammo.
What you have right now, for sprites, is good and doesn't need changing. Though maybe he could be scaled down to be a bit smaller.
