Has this mod been updated for the most recent version of the game? Would love to know since it would make my playthroughs as smaller nations much easier.

actually nevermind, I already did it, it's extremely simple, both the "engineer" and "artillery" files inside the units folder are missing the "affects_speed = no" parameter that goes right beneath the "active" paramenter...

@Desolation4all he's not wrong though, both the engineer and artillery support companies are slowing down all units to 4km/h needs a fix, I'll see if I can fix it myself

@Desolation4all that is a joke right? if not: basic infantry speed is 4.0 km/h. for example, speed of mechanised infantry is 8 kmph and if you mix it with infantry (4 kmph) you get 4 kmph, because infantry can't go any faster and mechanised infantry has to slow down q:

I don't know how, but there appears to be a glitch related to some values of infantry equipment. It sets the max speed to 4.0 km/h, causing the engineer company to somehow slow down a whole division to 4.0 km/h. I traced it to this mod, maybe you could look into it.

@PRFC I understand about the production cost, it should be lower. However I mean the actual infantry_equipment per unit.

Like this:

manpower = 1000
need = {
infantry_equipment = 1000
}

In yours its:

manpower = 1000
need = {
infantry_equipment = 100
}

This way it's the same amount of infantry_equipment as manpower.
Unless the engine wont accept it that is.

@gorgulla unfortunately i did try that but even with the reduced costs i made it does not allow me to do so this may not make much sense to you but the lowest production rate i can do is .10 cant go any lower than that

It really doesn't make sense that 100 rifles is needed for 1k men.
Can you adjust it to be realistic as the mod refers it to be?

Just curious... How come 1939 infantry weapons cost 0.10 when 1936 infantry weapons cost 0.20? Is the production cost supposed to decrease?

Its been reverted back to old It was supposed to work but because of the way the game works what I wrote in the mod didnt translate to the actual game apperently .01 is the same as .10 in hoi4 xD

@Vyško Yeah I'm having the same problem. The amount needed to make one basic infantry division is so much that if you want to spawn 24 divisions, that you get a defect of 170,000 or more guns, and it will take you over a year to make that much equipment. The update that happened changed it so there is a requirement for one gun per man. With 20 mils you still can't make enough to mobilize a sizable army.

did u update the mod recently? my inf production is absolutely fucked, i do the same as i did last week, even give them more mils yet i cant train more than 4 troops by 1938 as Germany, no volunteers, stockpilled from day 1, just max production yet its so few.

Does this mod work with expanded tech + industry + equipment (by greatexperiment)? Cause for me at least I don't see any changes in production. Is there any chance you could make it work with it?

PS real world aircraft factories outproduced the numbers Paradox gives them. If the U.S. 8th air force had to rely on Paradox factories they never would have been able to get of the ground let alone stay in the air. and truck production levels give Henry Ford a fainting spell at the very least.

Make there be 1000 Rifles needed for 1000 men, they have fewer guns cause they have 100 for 1000 men, if you adjust the number of guns needed then that would fix everything

Don't know if it is the mod's fault, but china just started to wreck the east asian co prospherity sphere and i don't know what is happening
