They're spacecraft, they are oriented however you choose to orient them.

As with any spacecraft model, you need to spawn it in the flight simulator

If you mean animated models, then no, it's not possible yet.

Good choice , is it also possible to place moving models into the game, such as a controllable astronaut that can walk or are only static models possible?
