Great Job!

I did a fresh install of the game, hidden information, and better UI. Still crashed when selecting the govt tab as Rome, so I booted as Carthage, also crashed when selecting govt tab. All other tabs worked just fine for both. Next I verified game files, booted again as Rome and same deal, all tabs work fine until selecting govt tab, which results in immediate CTD. So I went back, deactivated hidden information but left better UI active, booted as Rome and all tabs including govt work fine. :(

Not sure what to do at this point, but having perfect intel on enemies really really hurts this game, especially for MP. Any ideas you might have on anything else I can attempt for troubleshooting, or any other info I could gather to help figure out why I'm having this crash would be much appreciated. Thanks!

oh weird, okay, I'll try a reinstall of the game and the mod and let you know if it continues

thats odd. This mod does not actually touch the government tab, so unsure what is going on.

Hi! Any plans to update this mod? I'm currently having the problem that when I click on the government tab the entire game crashes. Everything else works perfectly! This game is nearly unplayable without your mod.

reason for asking was that it wasn't doing, long story short I reset my computer and disabled OneDrive the absolute bane of my existence. Got it working now, cheers.

I can probably throw one together, tho honestly I cant imagine not wanting to play with Better UI.... its just so much cleaner.

Thank you so much, you saved multiplayer games for me! I do agree with Brenner_Lima. I would love to see a version without the Better UI Modpack. I go so used to play like this, it takes me a lot of trouble to get to know the Better UI ui.

Not being cheeky, but could you make one that doesn't require the Better UI Modpack? Nothing against it, its very helpful, but everything is too big and looks ugly on it.

A mod where it could give you a rough estimate would be cool. So if Rome had about 200 cohorts, it would be like 150-250 or 170-220 etc. And the closer you are to these nations, the more accurate it would be. Also something like the size of the nation affects it too. So if you are Rome and a small Greek nation with one province is next to you, you should be able to really see their power.

Thats how the ledger works. Country you are playing is at the top always. Then it is all countries (including you) sorted by whatever. WAD. Also not something I touched.

needs more customization like portrait & names. Need also more people to choose from along the way to choose for positions. When you take over new terroritories you should get more people to select for positions or marriage generals ext...

Ah thanks, thats where the tooltip in the declare war screen was coming from.

There's also COUNTRY_SHORTHAND_INFO tooltip which shows stats for countries. You can edit it in interface_l_english.yml

Well done! Having all the informations is indeed ridiculous! I would prefer getting an overview of these nations which are in diplomatic contact with you. This would be traceable.

That would be cool but is a bit beyond what I know how to do right now. This is a relatively hacky solution that literally just hides information, its still there for the sort function but the tooltip and direct text display is disabled. But I agree, I would prefer a visible estimate as well.

i like where you went with this but its for its too... impractical. To many clicks for me to view simple things. maybe estimates instead like in hoi4? that would be more realistic technically aswell.
