The funny thing is, it's true.
When dying your muscles lose power, this does include the bowel muscles.
Further more, the bowels can't tense up and hold in a stool, so after death the last thing your corpse does before rotting is letting out one last deffecation. In other words, after you die, you shit whatever clothing you were wearing on you legs.
