Hi, since latest update (financial district) some assets are activate in game despite I deactivated them in asset manager. Surface network are ones of these. No matter which network I activate in game are acitvated all. Does anyone know where is the problem?

I had been having problems with Surface Painter leaving ruined terrain before I tried this. Now, so far, it seems Surface Painter and Surface Network go well together. I'll be trying out your other stuff. Thanks for Surface Network!! :steamthumbsup:

They don't work for me properly, the concrete one doesn't align properly with the concrete from other things (buildings, roads, etc), the texture is always off. Maybe an issue with using Theme Mixer 2 to change/tweak the textures, idk

These look nice. Are they a viable replacement for Ronyx69's old "Ploppable Asphalt"? They certainly seem a lot easier to use when you want to cover a somewhat large area like the station approach track bed for a large elevated train station.

@Brandon these work fine for me. Do you have the actual Airports DLC, or just the free core game updates released in tandem with the DLC?

@FwhPixelink and @Mr_Bubbles6891 What you're describing sounds like an issue with the game's sprites on certain surfaces. They aren't really visible on lower resolutions, and are actually a slight visual improvement if you're playing on just about any resolution below 1080p. But they are a real ugly eye sore when running at 1080p or 4K. Sub to the "Hide it, Bobby!" mod, activate it, go to the mod's options screen, scroll down to the "Sprites" section, and select the options to hide all 3 types of sprites: "Hide cliff decorations", "Hide grass decorations", "Hide fertile decorations".

Grass bleeds through on pavement when laid down on surface. The only way to get rid of is when you add decals; surface paint pavement so that it "cuts" the grass; or, use move-it to PhUp/Pg/Down, but then it has a shadow under it. Most roads and assets will remove any grass/ trees etc when laying down on surface. This is the only issue I have with this asset. Other than that it would be really useful.

It is possible to make surface network dont cast shadow from the surface below it? I make a high ground highway road and create a little cliff on its side. I also make retaining wall to cover the cliff with grass surface network to cover the rest. When the cliff casting shadow because of the sun, the grass surface network above it also turned darker like a shadow. I hope the author understand what I mean lol Thank you..

A lod-safe gravel-like-surface would require a custom texture.

The difference between the gravel and the other types is the "rail"-shader. That seems to be the cause for the lod-bug.
If that is set to "basic"-shader the network keeps its color at long distance.

I know the grass surface changes to snow when loading in winter maps, but it would be nice to have a snow surface network that would work in any biome. Looks odd to have grass in my snowy mountain area when using Theme Mixer 2 with boreal maps.
