I just ran some console-human ai command experiments on this. It works well. Countries are now producing tanks and divisions. Good work. Thank you.

Hey I have the expanded tank research mod also enabled but when I research the Panzer 3 I don't get ability to produce it, I also checked to see if it got placed in the out of date section but no Panzer 3. Is there a fix for this?

Paradox also did not take into allow for replacement parts that have to produced at a higher volume tiers, spark plugs, tank treads, You do not build a hole truck or tank to replace parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and have to be replaced over the life of the vehicle, rifle firing pins, artillery boats. A certain percentage of production (depending on a number of factors) will always be needed. Game mechanics do not account for that yet. thumbs up

hi, can you make the different types of tanks have different production value. for example, the T-34 was produced in masses much more than the panther because the t34 was relatively cheaper but weaker armor at the same time. would be super if u can work that out

@marcus.luchtel is spot on that if you use the 49,777 # from the wikipedia screen as the goal for total Battle Tank production, your production will be inflated compared to what was actually produced. Total number of German Battle Tanks (i.e. Panzer chassis with a turreted cannon) was more like 27,000.

Panzer III hulls by 1943, for instance, had shifted to being used almost exclusively on the Stug III which was cheaper and easier to produce, being turret-less. I believe the base build rate in the game is ~4x for TD over the corresponding chassis, so that's something to consider when balancing the final production #s.

the picture you have for production stats is not entirely correct. those number are for the "hulls" of the vehicles, not the actual tanks. this means that the large numbers of Panzer IIIs, Panzer 38(t) and to a lesser extent Panzer Ivs is because of the production of varients (StuG III, Hetzer, Nashorn, the marder series ect.). I know this because i did a paper on that in high school, the source is wikiedia, if you the fine print on the page it says so.

More tanks is not an issue, Getting enough fuel, for all three branches of the army is by far more a problem. If you have 8 Panzer divisions as Germany and some airwings you're already using more fuel then the whole of europe produces

I think A Good Basic Line on this sort of things is the man hours Need for each model of the tank.

No matter what the value of currency and type of the economics i think man hours would be the best value to rate all tank on.

@El Lanf I think they simplified infantry equipment instead of calling it guns for the reason of ease. Look at all the upgrade you get for inf equipment (bazookas, mortars, mgs). So this sounds like the equipment is meant for say a platoon (it says in the description for say the thompson inf equipment upgrade, that it has more submachine guns implying there are more guns in 1 package) It would be a nightmare if inf equipment was called guns since you need to produce all the different small arms (mg's, mortars, bazooka's, guns etc.)Looking at the tanks tho they seem to be more 1:1 with real life. look for example of the org of 1939 german panzer division: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_division#/media/File:German_Panzer_DIV_1939.png They have 6 companies of tanks of which 4 are light tanks and 2 medium/mixed. this in game would amount to 340 tanks . in real life the german divisions had around the same number of tanks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzer_division#Tank_complement

If you look at multiplayer player games a majority of pro players always go with superior fire because A its the cheapest thing in the game to produce and B has the best perks overall. You can just throw them in with regular infantry and it makes a difference. This mod also wants to make the mobile doctrine better because its not really usuble
