2. After reading the "Black sting Journal" I think you should add a assassin that follows you, makes suspiciuos noises and eventually attacks you.
Other then that, I love this mod and suits me well when it comes to use dual weapon and sneaky kills. :)
it would be hard for the nerves and have a sense of 'duty' as an assassin, everything have a price are we willing to pay it? it's a bit easy to find nice good looking weapons which are legendary for free cause we just stumbled on em by chance ^^ what you think?
let's say the only way to get rid of that is try and put back the weapons in the old sanctum where they belong. (you can add in the book something like 'i should have accomplished the deeds or put em back in place when i had the chance'. Once we go back the the location, an off gravy voice tells us we have to choose between becoming their true master, by keeping em and getting random kill contracts (which we would have a limited time to attend too before dark assassins bother us again) or put em back now and walk away freely, never to come back.
Any chance you can do something for us role playing lovers? i feel like since we read the book and take the weapons anyway, our lives should be threatenned. so maybe you can set up a 'mini quest'. here's an idea.
It should work. I don't remember a specific time seeing it in action, but I don't play Skyrim much at this point. As far as I know, there isn't anything that would prevent it when using a custom weapon.
@s33k3r
This is an issue I am aware of. I used to think it was unavoidable with the resolution of the textures I used on the weapons, but I have made weapons that have similar res textures that do not have the issue. The issue may be something different from texture res, so I need to look into it.
First of, nice work, the skin of these weapons are top notch.
Now to my problem, whenever i equip one of the black sting weapon, there is a 'lag'. Same as when you quicksave while moving you see? The game freezes for a sec then it's equipped. Thing wasn't so boring until i started using the dagger each time i was oom, cause i enchanted it with magicka drain at last. Hell i'm in an epic fight requiring tactical moves with a death overlord draugr and his 2 deathlords friends (they basically 2 shots me, cause of enhanced difficulty + enhanced AI mods and i'm playing in expert right now) and it's just goes on 'pause' then bam started again, each time i hit the hotkey to the dagger. it's becoming kinda annoying for it breaks the immersion a bit, and each time i'm like 'nooo don't crash now! i didn't save since the last auto! ah yeah it's just the dagger coming in hand' ^^
so if you know why and can fix it, or if i can do something to fix it, i'd like to know ^^
Thanks :)
@That Guy
It should be compatible with almost every mod. The only exception being weapon rebalancing mods and mods that modify the models and/or terrian around the shadow stone.
Thanks, it is very unlikely, but I might make armor and/or a bow.
Is Skyrim fully updated to it's latest stable version?
I deleted the mod's files from my computer and let steam download them over again. As fas as I can tell, everything worked as it should. I still had the weapons in my inventory after the full mod re-install. I had no errors appear. What I can suggest is that you do the same as I did. Start the skyrim launcher and select DATA FILES. Next highlight(click) ISDBlackSting.esp and click delete selected. Now, agree to delete all associated files and unsubscribe from the mod (you will be prompted to unsubscribe when you delete the mod in this way). This should delete the mod, the esp and bsa. Next thing you should do is close the skyrim launcher and navigate back to the mod page (if you had it open during this process you should reload the page [f5]) and subscribe back to the mod. If that doesn't resolve the issue, then I'm not sure what else to do. You could try searching for a solution to your error online.

Alternatively, you could "verify the integrity of the game cache" through steam. Go to your steam library, right click skyrim, select properties, select the local files tab, and click "verify the integrity of the game cache". If none of that works, then you could try reinstalling skyrim. If you do decide to reinstall, backup your saves, which are located in your documents/my games/skyrim/saves folder.
