Good old MS Post, this ship is the reason I bought this game back in 2019.
Thanks for the memories.

I noticed that it doesn't go faster than 26 knots.
TheoneandonlyXANDER. 15 Aug, 2021 @ 1:04pm
also how do you turn on the hinge connector
TheoneandonlyXANDER. 15 Aug, 2021 @ 1:03pm
this is a great ship in a small package like it is compacted not saying i want it bigger. it is really detailed 10-10
brombaard 1 Jun, 2021 @ 3:23am
Hey so this is probably a stupid question but the fresh water generator doesn't actually work does it?
Thales 28 Apr, 2021 @ 6:35pm
This ship was very heavy on CPU, I got 27 FPS. But now in the latest experimental branch I get 60 FPS if I reduce physics detail to low.

There is one thing wrong with this, there is no throttle for the hydraulic pump and there should be so I hope that is fixed, plus, there is also no power output so the pump does nothing.
HoodRussian13 26 Oct, 2020 @ 12:44am
Make sure the fuel pump is on the genrator, i missed that a few times.
HoodRussian13 26 Oct, 2020 @ 12:44am
I took this out tonight, out for a cruise, after i upfitted it with some of 1.0 tools, and had a megladon encounter. The Post took 3 good hits, mostly amidships, but low. Almost rolled the boat over on one, but the excellent bouyancy system kept it upright. Lost power and a fire started to a hit to the batteries in the keel. Fire put out, but no power. Geared it into neutral and looked for and fixed some damage. Using the generator to provide power and she sails. But a stern hit has jammed the rudder, but it still floats, pumps working, and she has power, sortof. Highly reccomend this boat
MonkeyKing73 6 Oct, 2020 @ 9:09pm
Thats cuz its a old ship for a older version of the game, probs needs updateing
Dolphin 3 Oct, 2020 @ 12:18pm
I'm just saying, I can't start er' up.

I do everything I need to do, and the cylinder status on the engines keeps turning off and the RPS plumets.

Nice Ship
Vitus  [author] 24 Sep, 2020 @ 2:44pm
Hey guys,
It's been a while and I'm happy you still enjoy the MSV Post! I don't think I'll update her to v 1.0 of Stormworks though, it'd be a massive project! She would need the new doors - which means that all the electrical system would need to be debugged, all the winches need to be replaced, etc.etc.

I am currently updating the Cinti though, and she's coming along nicely and there's more boats I work on and off when I find some time (which is not often).

If any of you is up for the challenge of bringing this ship to v1.0, feel free to do so and share the result in the workshop!
carn1vore 23 Sep, 2020 @ 8:10pm
This is still my favorite thing on the workshop.
Elemental210 22 Sep, 2020 @ 2:57am
Any plans on updating to 1.0 equipment?
Kingman 20 Apr, 2020 @ 5:28pm
also how does the bearing compass and locator beacon work, thanks in advance for any help and again this ship is amazing, I use it for everything, and hey you say it doesn't handle rough seas well, but I dissagree, never had a storm hurt her.
Kingman 20 Apr, 2020 @ 5:26pm
Hi I love this ship first, but I have a few questions.
1. there's a hatch at the back called the cargo hatch and it has something in it, what is it and can it be used some how.
2. Im having issues with the hinge connector and the helicopter, i'm forced to use the four tie downs
3.would it be possible to make the life boat easier to launch, I even put it a the back in a sketchy way with the winch and the crane as I use this vessel for search and rescue boat a lot.
4. finally the fuel tank situation confuses me, how do I refuel, what tanks do I use and when and Im assuming it runs on Diesel?

Also want to say, please share your other workshop creations. This is a work of art. This ship alone could make a stand-alone simulator like DCS's A-10 sim. Absolutely beautiful work.
wobert 9 Apr, 2020 @ 10:22am
please make your account public. id love to have any easy way to find your other work because the detail in this ship is amazing.
Rickdogishere 21 Feb, 2020 @ 10:25pm
hey mr. creator. is there any way to make the engines blow up or make it sink. if not i would love if you could add it.
hitkidsnotjuuls 2 Feb, 2020 @ 8:39pm
sorry to bother you again, but the bow bilge pump isnt working either.
jdude2005 1 Feb, 2020 @ 9:38am
Can it break ice?
Vitus  [author] 30 Jan, 2020 @ 1:35am
Brilliant! Glad you got it working!
RedBull shooter 29 Jan, 2020 @ 2:09pm
@Vitus Yeah i was a bit dumb, i did not turned the startes of again, but its working now thanks anyway :)
Vitus  [author] 29 Jan, 2020 @ 1:35pm
@RedBull shooter HD: you must've missed a step. I went through the procedure and it started up fine. Check the tooltip on one of the main engines. If it indicates that there's fuel missing, make sure that the fuel pumps are turned on and one or more of the fuel valves are open. If everything stays at 100%, you probably didn't have enough air pressure. Make sure to WAIT until the indicated pressure reaches ~15 psi and only then open ONE of the starter valves, the engine should crank over and after a few seconds, CLOSE the valve again, wait for the pressure to rise and open the second valve. I hope that helps you!

@HitKidsNotJuuls dang it, you're correct. I thought I had that error fixed weeks ago. I wired it up again and uploaded a new version. It should be working now. Let me know if you find anything else and thanks a lot for letting me know! :)
hitkidsnotjuuls 29 Jan, 2020 @ 1:03pm
bilge pumps in the cargo hold dont work
RedBull shooter 28 Jan, 2020 @ 9:12am
Hey, i cant get the engines started i did everything exact same, but they do not start
Vitus  [author] 27 Jan, 2020 @ 1:50pm
Yes, you need to leave the pump on for as long as you use the equipment. It will run until the maximum pressure is reached and turn off.
forminghalo9 27 Jan, 2020 @ 1:36pm
I love the ship but I'm having some trouble, I got the hydraulic pressure to get up to 130 but when I turn it off it goes down, do I leave it on and let the pressure build up?
mattynipps 26 Jan, 2020 @ 10:53am
Love this ship! It is one of the best on the workshop. Can't wait to see more of your fantastic work :-)

I think he was just trolling lol.

Just like any other creation on the workshop. Click the subscribe button, wait a few seconds for steam to download it, restart the game. Taaaadaaaa! :)

HOW DOWNLOAD
♠ℜΘß♠๖ÿáĥèll™(H3LL) 14 Jan, 2020 @ 8:54am
Well not difficult but more on the hard side when it stalls... having to run down and come back after being attacked by the megalodon lol
♠ℜΘß♠๖ÿáĥèll™(H3LL) 14 Jan, 2020 @ 8:53am
It was well worth it man. great ship. its a bit difficult getting the engines started when you are by your self but other than that, all good!
Vitus  [author] 14 Jan, 2020 @ 4:39am
Oh wow, that's incredible! Glad you got it sorted. I think I should reboot my system at some point, too :D
Glad you like the ship. It was a lot of work getting her workshop-ready.
♠ℜΘß♠๖ÿáĥèll™(H3LL) 14 Jan, 2020 @ 1:22am
@Vitus, You are right.... but funny thing is I ACTUALLY had my system on for over 17 days lol... reboot fixed it. I honestly didn't think that would be the issue considering how optimized I keep my system... but process lasso kept notifying me of a responsiveness issue I was having... so anywho, I help 60-64 sim fps the entire time after a reboot. Good ship man.
Vitus  [author] 13 Jan, 2020 @ 5:55am
Turn on the compressor and WAIT until the pressure build up to ~15 psi. Once that pressure is reached, fully open the starter valve for ONE of the engines. You will hear the SW starter kick in and the engine should come to life.

Once you're sure the engine is running CLOSE the starter valve again and wait until the air pressure is back up at ~15 psi.

Fully open the starter valve for the second engine and wait until the engine starts up, then close the valve again.

You can always put your cursor over the engine to figure out what's missing, so if you still have an issue, please let me know if you have fuel, air, exhaust and electricity.

I hope this helps!
Vitus  [author] 13 Jan, 2020 @ 5:55am
There's no fixed order. Whichever engine you decide to start first becomes your no. 1 engine.

I'm sure you missed something in the startup procedure. I assume that you turned on the fuel pumps and the fuel valves are set in a way that fuel is provided to the engines, because most of the time the confusion comes with the air starters.
