Navarre, I love this scenario and I would love to play again, but virtual arsenal crashes the game. Please send help! Love this one.

The Virtual Arsenal doesn't load in this mission and thus the game gets stalled.

The boat people broke so I went on foot to the base. Killed everyone inside and the moment I walked out of cover got rolled by an mrap. Moral of the story: avoid the scary guns.

The contact uses a custom voice file, and the volume seems to be quite low. Maybe you just didn't hear him speak? Do you have any tasks beyond meeting your contact?

I cannot complete the first objective. I land ashore and walk up to the operative but nothing happens. I get an "open bag" option and can rearm and drive the truck but the game stalls and does not offer any additional objectives past that point. I've loaded the game without ANY MODS so I am unsure what is the issue.

Awesome mission. One of the best SP missions out here. Sorta-kinda cheated by invading the CSAT military base and stealing the MBT that was parked there. From then on I became invincible since the MBT can pretty much wreck anything (APCs, MRAPs, AT-Infantry). Taking the village was a cinch after that. :steamhappy:

Great mission, I ended up doing most of the actual missions solo to avoid getting my teamates and me killed. All the tasks completed for me no problems. Just over 3 hrs of complete immersion. Thanks, look forward to trying more of your missions.

@71st_AH_wuffman: Personally on a stealthy mission, like what this is for the most part, I find it better to just solo things.

One tip for commanding AIs is make sure they are in the right stance. Combat stance will cause them to seek cover at all times and spend lots of time looking for enemies. Not at all useful when moving long distances, but useful when there is contact. Aware will cause them to mostly follow your lead, and use things like roads. Safe mode will have them act like there is no threats at all, they will not seek any cover, and they will not notice enemies unless they pretty much slap them in the face. Stealth is like combat stance, but makes them prefer actions them make them harder to find, like being prone 90% of the time.

Very good on your part. Very poor AI, as always the case in ARMA. This mission should be rnamed "AI Frustration". Give the command to move, the idiots run as fast as they can in the oppositwe direction and as exposed as they can possibly be. Would spend $ on an AI fix...

My 3 friends and i spent days trying to finish this thing, we get to the end after many weeks of night playing and the NATO extraction base objective doesn't clear, we can't finish.

Guttered, we drove to the NATO base as the chopper was crashed because for some reason they thought it wouldbe funny to have different controls in the Heli, then ARMA standard.
The option to "repair vehicle" was also constantly present.

Good scenario, long sp, you can revive your teammates, awesome battle, there is hidden heli moded easy to fix, so you can have some fun with it. Some bugs but not game braking. I will play this again coop. Thanks Navarre!

OK, I finished this mission. I liked it but it was, for me, a little too much. It was a great mission up the the point where I entered the village. Then it became too much. It took me hours and lots of 'reverts'. My big problem was the AI. Between the houses your team does no do what you tell 'm to do.; e.g. the medic never came because, instead of going to the victim, the medic starts to wander between the houses till he gets killed. Sometimes they would not get up, sometimes they do not watch designated sectors, one time I had to shoot a mate because he would not stand up, could only crawl (not wounded). Those are general single player problems, I guess.
And then you had to do yet another task.... Rooftop fighting was nice however. Music was nice.
In the end I personally had 70 kills, a Tigris tank, a quad and two Ifrits.
Thanks. For me it was OK, not great. But thats my problem. I really appreciate the work you put in this mission.

I have not finished this yet but I subscribe to what Chance Callahan before me mentions: weaponcache destruction does not mark complete, the voice is not understandable, the informant in the village is not in the church (but there is a voice however) and the fighting in town is too much (took me 6 hours and lots and lots of reverts)

Fantastic mission! Took me a bit more than 3 hours to complete. The firefight in Sofia might be a bit over the top, I think I killed in total somewhat around 200 enemies alone.
Found some bugs, nothing game breaking though:
-the Tunguska task did not mark complete
-the destruction of the weapons cache task did not mark complete
-the voice over was not understandable
-either the marker or the informant in Sofia were a bit off

after destroying the weapons/ammo cache, the task never completed, so i went back and really leveled the place with sachel charges, still didnt complete the task. anyone else have this issue? got all that way for nothing. damn..

Anybody else have an issue in which you can't understand what the characters said? It came out like adult talk in a Charlie Brown cartoon. Obviously, with the text, I could tell what was going on but the audio had a glitch.

I may need a little help. As soon as you aproach a mission relevant AI and he starts talking, the FPS drops MASSIVELY to a point where its unplayable. My mates have the same problem. We´ve shot the first guy immediatly after he started talking and it was fine. But as soon as we get into the church its unplayable since we cant shoot the AI. Is there a way to fix this? Otherwise great mission!

I think that is the way it normally works (frankly every respawn system seems to play by its own rules). Your best bet is to respawn, and they choose your next course of action.

All objecive markers on the map disappear once I save and exit, then start up ARMA again later. Duplicated twice. I have no idea where to go. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

Just keep going south along the shore and you should find it. If your tasks are empty then you might have run into a bug.

Also if you need to redo the missions from start you can use Zeus to give yourself an edge. Nothing like 20 NATO weapons teams to even the odds.

Got it thanks....also finished the power plant, just need to find the NATO outpost now....the contact said to exfiltrate south but there is nothing on the map, tasks are empty.... there is not much directly south of the power plant and most of the map is to the SW...any clues where to find the outpost....I just want to finish this now, its been hours :)

You need to make it to the church in the center of town. Once there it will trigger the metting with your contact, and you will be given your next goal.

Really enjoyed this mission...but I'm stuck in Sofia, got to the heli but no contact there and the town is crawling with enemy. After over an hour of searching for the contact and killing dozens of enemy there are still loads of them in the town and no sign of the contact? Any help, as I've played for hours and would love to be able to finish...thanks
