han0233 22 Jan @ 2:08am
updated!
II_Paulus_II  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 6:57am
I does, and when the anniversary patch is in fact released rather than as a beta, I will update this mod again just for the sake of updating the version
legionaer20 1 May, 2023 @ 5:38am
is this working with the current version?
Tanaka 11 May, 2021 @ 2:37pm
Ah only one per region I see.
II_Paulus_II  [author] 11 May, 2021 @ 2:35pm
the mod does what it says. If you want to get rid of mercs entirely have to make a different mod.
Tanaka 11 May, 2021 @ 2:34pm
Yeah still seeing mercenaries. How to get rid of the ship mercenaries as well?
Seleucus I Nicator 15 Mar, 2021 @ 1:29pm
update, please

Update, please
Bencir783920 14 Jul, 2020 @ 5:42am
wont compatible :(
II_Paulus_II  [author] 14 Jul, 2020 @ 5:41am
Would not like to say that it is compatible, but it is so small I am sure it is fine, but it wont take away mercenaries already generated so it is a bit pointless i think.
Bencir783920 13 Jul, 2020 @ 3:45am
Lovely mod,thx!
Compatible with saves?
II_Paulus_II  [author] 8 Apr, 2020 @ 8:55am
This mod is now updated for 1.4 with no need for any tweaks that do not touch mercenaries.

The year 9999 lol @Scutatus --- @Teremaster If you had 10k pops in your main province with the numbers in the paradox file you would have around 600k with a deviation of 0.25 which means that it could be around 750k in the stack.
Scutatus 9 Oct, 2019 @ 10:15pm
So in interest, what has the end date been moved to?
dustoff 9 Oct, 2019 @ 2:24pm
@Master_of_Experts Thanks for confirming ! Bit of peace of mind starting a new campaign
Jon Severinson 9 Oct, 2019 @ 5:14am
@Master_of_Experts: 1 pop represents 1000 *men* of fighting/working age. As of 2017, the US population was estimated by the Census Bureau to include 100'209'000 men age 18-64, so roughly 100k pops...
teremaster 9 Oct, 2019 @ 3:43am
The today's standard part is a little confusing. But 200k is really big seeing as the entire Roman military was only 500k at the height of its power
II_Paulus_II  [author] 8 Oct, 2019 @ 2:47pm
@dustoff Yes it is.
dustoff 7 Oct, 2019 @ 3:16pm
So is compatible with 1.2 Better UI mod?
Spaceracer 6 Oct, 2019 @ 5:09am
Good point. The 'today's standards' part confused me.
Maybe.
I'm probably just trying to make excuses.
II_Paulus_II  [author] 5 Oct, 2019 @ 3:16pm
How many I:R pops correspond to the 300 million (give or take) who live in the US - @Spaceracer
Spaceracer 5 Oct, 2019 @ 11:04am
A 200k large army for 10k I:R pops isn't that big by today's standards.

Hey @agamidae I knew I recognised the name. Nice UI mod pack xD. Thanks for advice, will see how to update this with your suggestion another day.
Agami 4 Oct, 2019 @ 5:24pm
Hey, you don't need to overwrite the entire defines file. Just keep what you're changing and remove the rest. Like NGame = { MIN_MERCENARIES_PER_REGION = 1 }
Check More time mod as an example.
I gotta say, 4M mercs is kinda ridiculous. They probably have their own society on that island :)
