Either way, a nice tribute. Reminds me of simpler times...
I'm proud to be part of such a great fandom for such a great game.
If you are having trouble finding the note.int (which we are way past the spoiler period at this point), I suggest going to this link [www.nexusmods.com] to download the actual package as is without steam workshop screwery; which I will include in the description later. Again, thank you all, and you all are the reason why I keep going.
I can't seem to find note.int though, I found localisation/INT/ but no note.int :/
Oh well, regardless, this level was heartwarming!
And to Snatcher. I know what you mean(and hopefully it doesn't ruin the experience), but you didn't miss the controllers. The Switch Tablet is docked. The two controllers-colored neon red and neon blue, and fits in one hand-are beyond the tablet; the location where you cannot see. But we know it is there...waiting for the tablet to open...and preparing to welcome us in a shining embrace.
I also forgot to mention that the use of the Title Screen theme as you travel throughout the level really hits home. You've made an excellent choice with music used for this mod.
Another small fact. In the U.S., as for the ESRB rating review for the Switch version, A Hat in Time has went from Everyone 10 and Up to T to Teen for "Fantasy Violence" and "Blood" The "Tobacco and Alcohol References" has been removed as it is not needed. This is likely to be applied to all versions of this game Does this mean we can now raise the level of violence for future mods? Once again, thank you for this. I can tell a lot of work has been put into it.
I worked really hard on this mod, and seeing some stuff not going right really pains me, but, to remedy this, I’m working on a patch to address some severe oversights; such as a crippling lack of Rumbi Factory representation and fixing some floating objects, and I MIGHT add something else, no promises (maybe, heh). I’ll release it ASAP as soon as I have time. Thank you all for playing and hope you guys play again for the new patch <3
Going through each part of the game with tablets discussing the history of the game itself (along with the nice hollow knight reference) was the perfect way to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the game.
As for the note.ini, I can relate to it (while not on as large of a scale) a lot. For a while, I just kinda felt like I never belonged in any communities, until I started trying to post my fanart to different online forums for various fandoms. It's incredible how welcoming community members can be to one another, and how quickly you can begin to feel like you belong somewhere and feel loved.
I wish you luck on your ambitions to make the ultimate a hat in time modding experience, and if you ever need any help, I'll be willing to participate (though my only skills are just 2D illustration). May you keep making mods and better the community better wherever this game leads to <3
