I like this a lot, but I think there needs to be some feedback when you 'hit' or 'miss' a block.
Maybe just play the regular hit sound if you're on the correct side, and optionally a 'fail' sound if you're on the wrong side.
I think this would make it easier to master, since you instantly know if you made a mistake.

Nice! Keep up the good work!

@Dylan Thanks! I was aiming for simple gameplay but with lots of room for competition.

@khmikael I agree that it could get pretty cramped in some spots, and I've had that comment from a few other people as well, so I've increased the minimum block spacing by 20%. Let me know how it feels now. I want it to be quite challenging at its fastest, but at the same time not a total crap-shoot.

I really like this, great work, the biggest issue I currently have with it though is that in a lot of songs I end up having a lot of low intensity notes and high intensity notes clustered togheter in such a way that it's practically impossible to gain a high number of notes correct in a row.

If there was some way to space them out a bit more evenly I think it would worked a bit better for me.

Great idea! Fun gameplay with a high skill ceiling

Yeah, it does take some getting used to. A little practice, and it won't be long before you're deftly weaving through traffic!

This has a lot of potential and it's a great idea. My mind is really struggling though with this simple concept that low blocks I move left and high scoring blocks I move right. When the music is slow, I can cope but with lots of blocks on the screen at one time, I really struggle and break my streaks often.

Thanks! I appreciate the listing. I'm still tweaking the gameplay and scoring as well, so let me know if you want to see something happen.

Fantastic! A really interesting new twist to Audiosurf 2. I can see this mode getting very competitive on the leaderboards. I am surprised this has not been more popular. Officially Listed on Mods of Innovation.
