Is it possible to ignore saving if used alongside infiltration mod? (it's when you strip everything, civilian disguise, base smg etc) This is most annoying gear saving and time sink

This mod's functionality is tied to the squad select screen. It shouldn't do anything anywhere else. I don't see how it can affect Covert Actions at all, unless you're using Covert Infiltration, and even then it should function normally, same as on the regular squad select.

Whenever I send units on covert missions their equipment is always changed to the first piece of select-able equipment in each slot. Otherwise, I have no issue.

Doesn't seem to do anything as the loadouts still reset with them becoming wounded. Can you add a function to simply save and load them? I was already following instructions very closely (locked the soldiers loadout, then saved just to be sure and it's still resetting.

The game automatically unequips items from wounded soldiers, not sure why the mod would fail to equip them back, though. I'll investigate.

This definitely do not work. I've played with it for over a year and whenever I have a soldier wounded in mission, he loses everything when selecting him for another mission.

Если тебе так хочется ты можешь сделать свой мод который будет добавлять русскую локализацию хоть ко всем модам в мастерской.

This mod saves loadouts for individual soldiers, it does not copy loadouts between soldiers.

What exactly are the steps to get this to work? I've got a few mods for both slots and weapons, and I'm trying to have my squad copy the loadout of my first soldier in line. I save their loadout, remove soldier 1 from the team, then add them back, after that adding everyone else. However, they all seem to copy an entirely different loadout. Am I missing something in the steps here?

ALMUnequipBrokenItems doesn't do anything. The items are equipped double can't be fixed unless you unequip everything and reequip them.

@iridar, thanks for the fast reply, i use 'more base utility slots' to add 1 slot to soldiers and 2 slots for the reaper and the added slots seem not to work with loadout manager. do you have any suggestion of another mod to add utility slots which work with your loadout manager.

i am planning to start a new game tonight and thought i will change some small things in my modlist anyway.

and a huge compliment and thanks for your mods, they are fantastic.

I love this mod but i can't play without true primaries because of RPGO etc. If iridar can figure out a way to strip individual soldiers of their gear BYPASSING the saved loadouts that can also work. But then he would be working to fix another mod's bugs :)

@evilpolygons its a problem with True primaries you will notice if you change a weapon it doesn't get changed but in fact IS CARRIED by the soldier and you end up with MULTIPLE attack buttons etc in mission for each weapon. Problem is excess weapons dissapear after the mission.

The solution is when you notice this happening you remove the soldier from the squad and hit unequipbarracks that solves the problem and gives you back the weapon. NOW the problem is that if you use THIS mod you can't do that so you can't prevent multiple stacks of weapons and dissapearing ones. Until musashi figures out the bug this is the only solution.

every time I removed a gremlin bearing soldier from the mission prep and added them back, they got another gremlin
their hack stat would go up by 50 every time I clicked it because gremlins give a bonus, I got it up to like 2000
the S W A R M was pretty hilarious to see in game
I'm fairly sure its a bug caused by this mod combined with one of my other 300 mods, but its pretty comical.
here's hoping that troubleshoot command fixes the gremlins, and a few others that have duplicate weapon icons.

My Shadowkeeper pistol disappeared under the same circumstances as reported by Malek on July 1st. I'm not sure if the problem lies with True Primary Secondaries or Automated Loadout Manager, or the combination of the two, but this is actually the second time it has vanished. The first time I caught it before saving the game. This time I didn't notice until it was too late.

Damn! that's too bad :steamsad:, honestly it is so annoying at this point that I am thinking about starting the game all over again and then simply never do the research for tier 2 and 3 weapons, it seems to be the only way to really solve this issue :xcom2grenadier:

No, those functions are pretty hardcoded.
However, the point of this mod is to make the game's fiddling with the loadout a non-issue, though it doesn't manage weapon upgrades yet.

Could this mod also be used to somehow completely prevent the game from making any kind of automated changes to your loadout?

I am so sick and tired of constantly having to correct my loadout for my characters after they have been on covert/bonding/infirmary/etc, seems I am spending half my time in the game removing attachments from weapons, equipping the correct weapon and then adding the previously removed attachments to the correct weapon, it is a none stop job at this point :steamfacepalm:

*sigh* It pains me to write this bug report, since I have little concrete info to give out beyond "well that's a thing that happened", but I figure it's worth putting out even if only as a warning. Long story short: somewhere between this mod and Musashi's True Primary Secondaries my Assassin's Katana disappeared. It was last equipped on my Stormrider (who has had her loadout saved and locked) as a primary weapon. After last mission the Stormrider run she first spent some time in infirmary (if I remember correctly), then got put into bond training. First time I tried putting her on mission afterwards I've found the weapon gone from her hand, and gone from my inventory entirely. No clue what the mechanic behind this happening, and I can't be entirely sure which of the two mods is responsible - which is why I'm going to put it on both mod's pages - and honestly I don't have much to go on in terms of trying to find out more.

So, uh, yeah... that's a thing that happened to me. o_O

Yea So the use of mods and INI edits I have 3 Utility slots PLUS
A Grenade
A Ammo
And a Vest slot
once loadout is saved and locked it all works fine except the Item in the first Utility slot is always changed to a plasma grenade NFI lol

It should automatically pick up any slots you can interact with.
ALM sometimes doesn't work with some slots, I haven't been able to track this issue yet.
