You can add lairs by using "Add Existing Trait" to add the vampire lair ability, but they don't do anything without additional file editing.
All of my tricks are outlined in the Advanced Text Editing Guide, which is stickied in the Workshop Discussions forum.

How have you managed to change the names of the DNA points, transmissions, symptoms etc? and how did you manage to add crypts in a necroa virus? was it done by thinkering with the scenario file outside the editor?

Well, events can't be triggered by government actions or vice versa, but it sounds like you're having trouble with something much more basic. Why don't you PM me.

not quite... how do I phrase this? (I am struggling with communication lately. It's annoying)

Basicly, not if/then (Though it might not be a bad idea, since some people might not know what that is), but I mean how the scenario uses the statments. How to make the statments, how to make them interact with one another, how to make them be triggered by symptoms, how to make them trigger/ be triggered by gov.

and so on. Just an idea though!

What do you mean by "how to use events and government actions"? You mean like an explanation of how if/then statements work?

The Advanced Text Editing guide has pretty much all of my tricks. I did use a few new techniques for this one though, which I will add to the guide soon.

I have a quick suggestion/ idea

Could you make a guide on how to use events completly? Basicly, all the information that you use to make your plauqes?

I've been improving this scenario, making it easier overall, adding some new mechanics, and also changing the dialogue somewhat to make it a little less off-putting. A little.

@Skypirinha Heh, I was just trying to fit the character. The ancient Sumerian goddess of death was not known for being especially friendly.
I guess I'll consider toning it down...a little.

You realy put much work into this and it's all fine and cool, the gameplay aspect is outstanding. But these constant messages "what are you doing?" "such a lackluster performance" destroyed the scenario for me. Instead of motivating me to get better I just feel bad now after two runs (just because I tried on higher difficulty and played saver?). Is this intended? Based on the description I guess not.

DNA is intentionally scarce, so you have to decide which traits you want to focus on. There is more than one strategy to win.
The zombies do spread out eventually, faster if you evolve lethal symptoms early. I may add a bit of initial lethality to make this easier.

DNA is to hard to come by and it zombies don't spread out by themselves allowing the army to spread way to easily.
