Good job Klime, with the cwis and phalanx systems developing problems it's good that someone thought back to the early 20th century. I saw these in use at the tournament and was well impressed. Thank you for your time and effort to resolve another issue for the rest of us. Onya mate.

Hello,

awesome what can be done with a simple script.
I did a bit testing with heavy armor ships and the damage is really good.
also tried to port this to interior turret or assault turret but no luck....may i used the wrong namespaces whatever :-(

@Villinus: remove the "MySimpleObjectDraw.DrawLine" stuff at the .cs file

@Klime thx for that nice mod! for me as a Battlestar Galactica fan really good!

@Klime. Long time fan. for someone who wanted to use this mod as a test bed for their first time modding.... how would one get rid of the yellow "tracer" lines? I'm trying to take baby steps because this is all basically magic to me. I found out how to make it a large grid weapon already. i just need some help with the finer bits. =)

Hey Klime? I have a bit of a question. Would it be possible for a version to exist with a bit more spread and the removal of the "streak" or "trail" from a flak round? Looking at using this in a cinematic.

Not everyone wants to use WC and the flak guns are quite underwhelming in them mods, the AoE is rather useless or doesn't even explode in proxy of the target.

Why are you guys still using this mod when multiple WeaponCore Flak guns exist :)

This mod was made in about 10 minutes for Cinematic purposes only. It is not in any way designed to be used in actual gameplay

@kanna Actually I make most of my anti-fighter ships small grid, tho having some one my large grid would be great.

Tho as it stands after some testing, the accuracy of it is just not practical compared to other weapons out there.

large grid version please, literally the only ships that should be using a flak screen are large ships

small grid or not works great with small to large grid block can set these up and set em to always fire turn em off then turn em on for a nice flak screen

Fixed, small grid only. Shells will explode at the predetermined height, impacts don't matter. They don't have any proximity sensors. Ammo is standard Gatling ammo. Damage is 100 I believe, radius 10m

I'd love to have some more information! When you say small grid gun, do you mean a fixed gun or one on a turret? Do the shells explode only on impact, or only at max range, or do they also explode near an enemy grid? Does it have its own ammo type? I assume the shells cause area damage, what kind of radius are the explosions? Anything else special?
