Please update these fleets! I'd love to use these if theyd work again!!
Bryce 28 Oct, 2021 @ 7:38pm
But, hey, whatever you decide, this boat is still just absolutely phenomenal. =D I'm subscribed to the thread to keep up to date with anything.
Bryce 28 Oct, 2021 @ 7:37pm
Me and Trace were talking about it and we would love if you added guns, and a possible nuclear engine if possible. I know this boat is an older 1972 model, but I think it would also be really cool to see more modular systems such as a bigger weather radar and GPS system in the deck. I could use this for career more too, then! :)
Pierre-Luc  [author] 26 Oct, 2021 @ 5:38am
What new features do you think I should add?
Bryce 25 Oct, 2021 @ 11:09pm
You should! :)
Pierre-Luc  [author] 23 Oct, 2021 @ 9:20pm
Hello, it's also one of my favorite old ship. I should really get around to update it to more modern stuff soon
Jaeger Jack 23 Oct, 2021 @ 8:16pm
God, I love this ship
Sharps 15 Dec, 2020 @ 3:00pm
Yes! Yes we would
Bryce 14 Nov, 2020 @ 9:33pm
We'd love it! :)
trece 14 Nov, 2020 @ 3:47pm
Yes, we would.
Pierre-Luc  [author] 14 Nov, 2020 @ 7:11am
Would you guys like an update for the Champion?
Bryce 14 Nov, 2020 @ 1:24am
This boat sustained damage from a fighter jet hitting it at full speed and kept moving.
trece 14 Nov, 2020 @ 1:23am
- Survived tsunami
- Hit the dock and was still floating
- Survived a maxed out storm while damaged
- Hit a boat multiple time. damaging the rotor
- Survived a fighter jet hitting it full speed, breaking it's center of gravity making it roll endlessly
- Survived a VTOL hitting it, and caused THAT to spin
- Survived a hit by island and could still float and operate
- Can perform wheelies better than a muscle car with 2k HP on a drag strip

Best ship I've ever been on, Champion was no joke.

I only have experience doing stuff in empyrion, which you can see if you look at my steam profile. I wouldn't even know where to begin in stormworks. I might be willing to at least try to help in light refits, but doing things like LUA scripting, logic, etc, really way outside my league.

Hi there, I was waiting for Version 1.0 to drop to get back to the game. I won't be able to spend as much time as I'd like on the game but still: I'm back!

Here's the plan for Kriger:
First was to refresh the Tempest because it was the most appropriate for missions
Next step is to refresh the Elg, the Champion, the Guardian and the Warden as they are "favorites". That being said, the Elg needs a very deep refresh, the Champion too while the Guardian and the Warden would only be adding the new inventory items.

Then there are the totally new projects and that's what I'm currently working on. I'm working on a new Naval ship.

Sadly, revamping ships is not super motivating for me so if anyone is interested in helping me out please contact me and show some of the ships you've done. Easy revamps are all right like the Warden, the Guardian and the Tempest but deeper work like the Champion and the Elg is not really motivating for me. Anyone interested?
LadyRayneCloud 23 Sep, 2020 @ 11:00am
Hey Pierre-Luc, any chance you'll be heading back to the older ships and what not like this one? (RL and what not permitting)
Sharps 19 Apr, 2020 @ 2:19am
Is the bow supposed to rise almost completely out of the water at full speed?
Baker 2 Mar, 2020 @ 11:32pm
this is nice but its so confusing trying to start it up...make it simpler lmao please, cant find shit
mikeh2004 28 Feb, 2020 @ 12:57pm
Brilliant ship. Proportions are good and feel correct. Attention to detail is top notch. My favourate sub.
Pierre-Luc  [author] 18 Feb, 2020 @ 4:50pm
757-Alex L I think you're commenting on the wrong ship.
Averagealex99 18 Feb, 2020 @ 3:06pm
So the bow thrusters on this one are bugged. They don't work at all. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this ship. The only other suggestion I would give, is make the dinghy a bit more stable in the water. I think you might even have the space to make the dinghy a bit bigger, it being too small might be the issue.
pickledpubes 28 Jan, 2020 @ 5:45pm
pierre-luc thanks that would be great
Pierre-Luc  [author] 22 Jan, 2020 @ 7:03pm
I don't think I put them in the Champion. That's something I could consider for a future update.
pickledpubes 22 Jan, 2020 @ 6:36pm
is there any engine fire extinguisher
AntlerAndyy 31 Dec, 2019 @ 7:52pm
So while i was playing this ship it kept turning in circles nonstop and idk how to fix so thats why im typing it here so you know about it
Pierre-Luc  [author] 24 Dec, 2019 @ 5:43am

how to start driving on this machine.
Pierre-Luc  [author] 22 Dec, 2019 @ 11:18am
I love the old Dutch Smit tugs. Building the Rotterdam, London and Singapore is definitely on my list. The real ones are quite big so I'd have to scale them down a bit. If you happen to have deckplans for any of these, I'm a taker!
Ovist 22 Dec, 2019 @ 10:02am
love your work! would love to something similar to the Smit Rotterdam, a sea-going tugboat. keep up the good work!
bartoszjankiewicz1987 27 Oct, 2019 @ 11:19am
i was trying install by my self but I failed. Dont know this is my fault or just that ship doesnt want work with autopilot. Sorry for my English:)
Pierre-Luc  [author] 27 Oct, 2019 @ 10:44am
@bartoszjankiewicz1987 Thank you. Maybe in a future ship but I have no intention on adding auto-pilot to this one.
bartoszjankiewicz1987 27 Oct, 2019 @ 9:16am
Nice ship. It is possible to add autopilot?
NCR Trooper 17 Oct, 2019 @ 4:16pm
nvm I'm just retarded
NCR Trooper 17 Oct, 2019 @ 4:13pm
I'm pretty sure I turned everything on, but the ship wont start. Any advice?
Pierre-Luc  [author] 15 Oct, 2019 @ 1:47pm
@EpicTortoise yes, indeed. :)
TurbulentTurtle 15 Oct, 2019 @ 9:05am
People REALLY need to read descriptions!
Pierre-Luc  [author] 14 Oct, 2019 @ 5:44am
@Deaf3279

Here's the cold start procedure:
Go to the Engine Room
Go down the hatch and find the 6 Fuel Valves and turn them on
Go back to the engine room, flip the 6 Main Engine breakers
Turn on the Coolant Pumps, Turn on the Turbochagers
Start the 6 Engines
Go to the Bridge and operate the ship
There's a direct phone line between the Engine Room and the Bridge
Bodhi DoubleWodkovich 13 Oct, 2019 @ 6:03am
EPIC. When i spawned it, game started running at about 1/4 speed, while still in 60 FPS. I better buy a new CPU for this thing, AMD EPYC maybe
Axiom 13 Oct, 2019 @ 5:39am
Boat just keeps flipping over when stationary
Pierre-Luc  [author] 12 Oct, 2019 @ 4:43am
@GERUNIMO I am glad I can inspire you to finish some projects and I can't wait to see them! I'm sure they will inspire me by then!
Pierre-Luc  [author] 12 Oct, 2019 @ 4:41am
@Back2FutureFan6 Yes! I've finally finished it! It took quite a while because I did about 3 major rebuild where I tore down most of the work I did and started a new because something didn't feel right. I kept going until I had this feeling like "yes, this is how she should be!". I am very excited for the mainland update! New missions, towns, trees, roads, rails and all of that in 200km2!!! Can't wait!
gimidjiiski 11 Oct, 2019 @ 8:55pm
I REALY WANT THIS BOAT HOW YOU MAKE
EngineerTF2 11 Oct, 2019 @ 6:22pm
anyone excited for mainland update?
EngineerTF2 11 Oct, 2019 @ 6:22pm
finally! you finished it!
GERUNIMO 11 Oct, 2019 @ 5:46pm
Pierre-Luc, the cool thing about inspiration is its a two way street. Now I'm inspired to get off my butt and finish some projects :D
Pierre-Luc  [author] 11 Oct, 2019 @ 3:09pm
@GERUNIMO Oh my thank you! You're the creator that inspired me to build ships!
GERUNIMO 11 Oct, 2019 @ 11:33am
I'm with Mrwaffles on this one! Absolutely great work! There is sooo much to see and do, and to top it off she is an ABSOLUTELY beautiful ship! Well done! Thanks for the washing machine too, my crew was starting to complain that I smelled like dead fish.
geode77pyrite 11 Oct, 2019 @ 8:14am
Wow im impressed the details are out of this world <3
BadlyCroppedFish 11 Oct, 2019 @ 7:56am
This boat makes me moist.
Pierre-Luc  [author] 10 Oct, 2019 @ 3:26pm
@BOB if you really want to sink it, just open all the doors and open the large diver's hatch. That should sink it.
