looks like the house of you're mute first-person character before something bad happened's during the prologue mission where something happened's that causes you to not live in that house after a lot of crime filled events you're, back here to choose the choice that ends the game's story.

buildcubemaps doesn't work. When I type it in. the console spits out "maps/gm_highriseapartment.bsp is not writable!!! Check it out before running buildcubemaps.

Did you check the Garry's Mod map section? If it's not in there, try restarting the game and see if it downloads or something.
