in contrast guilmon is so bad that the last person I played against spent the match hiding from me to power up their matrix just so they could be the busted side of this character
it's really weird
-You can charge it with the down special, which is faster, but you need to stay in one place while using it.
-Or you can string your attacks together and if the attacks hit the opponent it will fill the meter too, but slower than the down special.
After it is finished (which is indicated with the "Matrix Evolution" text appearing) just press the down special and you should be able to evolve.
