The best part about this mod is the fact that now the game doesnt unequip your soldiers that got wounded and you dont have to spend time re-outfitting guys before every mission

You can change your game with those 👍
You just need to be aware if those flags are not used for other purposes.

Just downloaded this and realised how simple it is.
I need to play around with those flags more.

There is a resistance order which I hopefully disabled here.

I thought this was already a resistance order or I'm thinking of that Continent Bonus ? That I rarely ever use due to having a mod that forces at least two characters from my pool to promote into base classes.

@Lebowskichild
They should keep the same amount as if they weren't out. Don't know if that extends if they take extra damages during the mission but I don't think so.

@Steve30
Still need the WOTC SDK. Will open a discussion later to make some sort of guide.

This mod will not go further. To make it work I've put the same flag the Spark uses to go on mission over and over.
Making a resistance card or applying debuff would require code. Not difficult but not on the scope of this mod. We can still open a discussion to imagine a better implementation 👍

Out of curiosity, how exactly does deploying a wounded soldier affect their (THE SOLDIER IN QUESTION) wound times? I mean, I know if you deploy a soldier with a wound that their starting health on that mission is reduced, but what if I heal them to full and they then take no damage in the mission?

What I'm trying to understand is, what is the penalty to wound times of taking already wounded soldiers? Either if they take additional damage on the said mission or even if they take no damage. Does wound time stack?

Sorry if this is common knowledge but I've never taken notice of the affect when/if I've had the situation come up in game.

I guess if you use this mod and then deploy someone just a day before they would have recovered anyway, they would still be in the same bad shape as just after the last mission?
Steve30 16 Oct, 2019 @ 7:39pm
I would actually love to learn how to turn it into a resistance card.

Another +1 for the preview image.
I know this is meant to be a simple mod, but would you consider an option to allow only lightly wounded soldiers to be deployed (as in the current resistance card) or finish the mission wounded worse than they would otherwise be?

It always kind of bugged me how Bradford got to decide who got to lie around in bed just because they came back from a mission in a jar instead of Commander moi.

Needs a chance for perma-death if the soldier starts with less than 50% health and gets injured.

@Steve30
If you want to make it a resistance card I can guide you, it is not difficult at all.

This one is a really simple mod without code needed and compatible with many modded classes. Might be missing some so feel free to tell me so I can update 👍

I mean, less health is a debuff in itself. Easier to get killed, after all.
Steve30 16 Oct, 2019 @ 8:55am
You know, this would not be such a bad idea if you made this a resistance card that only affects wounded soldiers and not lightly or heavily wounded. Maybe also give a debuff perk if they are deployed in battle before fully healed.

I think it will be a popular mod with those who like to limit their soldiers. I play with more severe wound times so it may yet be handy, however I have much balancing to do beforehand.

I'm glad you've published as options are always a plus.
Boundir  [author] 16 Oct, 2019 @ 7:41am
Haha! I don't intend to use it either to be honest.
Was curious how it worked so I made it. Then I enjoyed making that image so I published it 😜

Although this mod is not something I would use right now, I had to give a thumbs up and let you know that I love your Preview Image.
