No, sorry.

If someone else wants to update and reupload, I only ask that you link it here so that people can find it. The full source is available at the Github link, and updating mods from 1.1 to 1.2 shouldn't take much.
Natalie6 11 Aug, 2020 @ 12:17am
Damn, guess that probably means no 1.2 ant people
Zylleon  [author] 24 Jul, 2020 @ 8:40am
Not really active anymore. I would be ok with someone taking it over.

Update, Antinium can meditate at anima trees
Alquimista Erick 19 Jul, 2020 @ 4:08pm
Been a long time since I last played rimworld. this was one of my favorite mods. Are you still working on him?
superomgj 4 Jul, 2020 @ 6:49pm
Wow, that's quite a hefty negative moodlet for getting wet.
Angus Beef 2 Jul, 2020 @ 10:24pm
It's lame that queens can't reproduce.
TheSevenSins 18 Jun, 2020 @ 5:49pm
I had a fifth antinium join us, just for them to be reveal a traitor. I still have not seen the event
Zylleon  [author] 17 Jun, 2020 @ 11:47pm
Antinium queen comes from a Mysterious Egg event that happens within 30 days or so of meeting the population criteria. The queen will hatch from the egg.

@tarknight-- Right now I suspect the backstories don't count, I'll have to look at that when I rotate back around to this mod
TheSevenSins 15 Jun, 2020 @ 12:17pm
@benai you mean there should all be set to female by default? yes! XD

@tarknight it is not right now but it would be indeed very cool. I dunno if the author here has the dlc or if it would make the mod require it however

@Zylleon I got 5 antinium and 7 other colonists how do I get a queen?
tarknight 13 Jun, 2020 @ 8:43pm
are the antinium backstoryes considered tribal backstoryes, for example, the new update adding the anima tree and tribal spellcasters, will antinium be able to meditate in a anima tree?
benai 13 Jun, 2020 @ 11:54am
Ant colonies are all female. The males are only for reproduction like you have with all eusocial bees, wasps, hornets and everything that is in this group. The big difference are the termites which are also eusocial but they share a group with cockroach (sistergroup). Those have males and females within the colony and depending on the evolutionary status (fo the species or the workers itself) all of them can found a new colony with a new king and queen which have over their entire time fun with each other instead of almost all ants which have only one time time for sex.

What i miss in this mod is the option of the queen to lay eggs or larvae which needs to be feeded and then grow into new Antinium.
TheSevenSins 12 Jun, 2020 @ 1:50pm
yeah, I have a ton off different mods. I wish I had a way to get female antinium that aren't queens, but I do understand it wouldn't match with real ants... hmm
Zylleon  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 1:09pm
Not beating myself up, just being honest! This was my first complicated mod, and a lot of the code was "just to see if I can", and as such it is a messy spaghetti pile on the back end. There's probably a lot of weird mod interactions, especially with the Queen stuff.
TheSevenSins 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:49pm
I couldn't say sadly. don't beat yourself up too hard, the mod looks great and its neat idea ^^
Zylleon  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:39pm
What do you mean by "wives"? Queen relation is separate from spouse relations. If the "wives" have a normal spouse relationship, that won't count as queen relationship.

If some of the wives have the queen backstory, traits, hediff, or comp, or if there are non-queen female antinium, that could screw it up. Tbh the code in this mod is kind of terrible on the back end.
TheSevenSins 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:19pm
I don't have any antinium yet, however my pawn does have multiple "wives", which might be mistaken for a queen bond?
Zylleon  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 10:05am
It will spawn naturally a little while after you meet the population requirements.

That shouldn't be able to happen, unless you used another mod to give your male antinium the queen trait or backstory.
TheSevenSins 12 Jun, 2020 @ 9:49am
so how do we get the queen to spawn, does it happen naturally once you get your third antium pawn? also, I have no queen, yet when some of my male pawn lovers get hurt, he gets the mood debuff "queen is dying"
Zylleon  [author] 12 Jun, 2020 @ 12:03am
No reproduction. The only naturally occurring female is the queen, who can show up from an event.

The young ant queens should have a special body graphic so they don't look weird without heads, I'll double check that
benai 11 Jun, 2020 @ 4:27pm
So the queens are only a moral booster and do not produces eggs or larvae or something when they reach the age of 18?
Oh, and you need to check the young ant queens. They have below age 13 no head just eating and running torsos.
Angus Beef 16 May, 2020 @ 10:47pm
Any news on reproduction?
TheSevenSins 21 Apr, 2020 @ 3:55pm
Is there a way to get female antinium when you don't start a antinium colony? I believe you only get raided by males
Zombe 5 Apr, 2020 @ 11:50am
Will insects still attack these: if so, is there any way for this to be changed?
Zylleon  [author] 3 Apr, 2020 @ 1:33pm
1.1 version is out!
|dvh| 2 Apr, 2020 @ 3:44am
Yay!
Zylleon  [author] 31 Mar, 2020 @ 12:17pm
1.1 is nearly ready
Bitter Lemon 30 Mar, 2020 @ 4:46am
Can't wait to try it out in 1.1. Thanks for all the effort and time you're putting into it, Zylleon.
Bobby_Hill (♀) 29 Mar, 2020 @ 8:51am
this mode is too cool to not be updated to 1.1
[They/Them] ChesseTheWasp 16 Mar, 2020 @ 2:07pm
:grinsam:
Zylleon  [author] 16 Mar, 2020 @ 7:41am
@Uganda-- made me laugh pretty hard!

Don't worry, there's an update in progress.
[They/Them] ChesseTheWasp 15 Mar, 2020 @ 4:04pm
1.1 ME LOVE ANT BUT CAN'T BE ANT OK!
Natalie6 8 Mar, 2020 @ 12:58pm
Might need to make hive queens more common, never encountered in my playthroughs.
|dvh| 4 Mar, 2020 @ 9:50am
Aberrations came up a couple times and were interesting. I never encountered a Hive Queen.
Zylleon  [author] 4 Mar, 2020 @ 9:49am
Raid size was a problem, especially early game!

What about Aberrations and Hive Queens? Were people seeing these events happen at all? Too often, not often enough?
|dvh| 4 Mar, 2020 @ 9:40am
The only complaint I would have about the 1.0 version was that if an Antinium raid came from chasing a refugee, it seemed to be five times larger than any other sort of raid from their or any other faction. Everything else I saw seemed awesome.
Zylleon  [author] 4 Mar, 2020 @ 8:33am
What does everyone like and dislike about this mod right now? Traits, mechanics, backstories, overall balance?

Upgrading to 1.1 will require some changes, not just updating the code. I want to know which things to try to keep as-is, and which things to adjust or drop
RealLifeHobgoblin 3 Mar, 2020 @ 6:22pm
Hey Zylleon, pirate tried your mod, but wants a 1.1 update
Zylleon  [author] 29 Feb, 2020 @ 5:31pm
I'll add it to the list. It'll be a bit before an update though
|dvh| 29 Feb, 2020 @ 4:30pm
I'll second the request for 1.1.
Nick Crow 28 Feb, 2020 @ 7:01pm
1.1?
Pyresryke 21 Feb, 2020 @ 8:20pm
Ants are actually adept at farming fungus and engage in a form of cooperation with certain insects, so they shouldn't be bad at farming or animal husbandry.
Zylleon  [author] 21 Feb, 2020 @ 7:14am
Hive queen stuff is now in the description, where I should have put it to start with
Booperius 21 Feb, 2020 @ 4:36am
What does a hive queen do exactly?
Zylleon  [author] 14 Feb, 2020 @ 8:37pm
About 30 days to become an adult, and keeps getting stronger for 2-3 years. By 3 years pretty much everyone in the colony will be affected.
shadowstalker1857 14 Feb, 2020 @ 4:20am
How long does it take in total for queens to age up also some of the mood benefits or tolls are beyond a doubt fair nice touch. o 3 o
Zylleon  [author] 10 Feb, 2020 @ 6:48am
Minor update. Queens spawn more often, and Antinium raids will be less ridiculous early game
Natalie6 20 Jan, 2020 @ 12:40pm
Would it be possible to make it so that antinium don't get the "soaking wet" moodlet as quickly? If the game happens to rain a little too much, it can be an easy run killer.
Raccoon 9 Jan, 2020 @ 2:56pm
What do hive queens Do? aswell.
Zylleon  [author] 9 Jan, 2020 @ 10:58am
Egg also won't spawn anywhere that's so cold the egg would instantly freeze. It's safe at a much wider temperature range than vanilla eggs, but if your map is permanent winter that might be a problem
