are the physics boxes updated to more accurately match their visible geometry? I have used ragdoll resizer previously, but it would cause me to clip through the model at knees, elbows, shoulders, etc.

Actually, Raze, ragdoll resizer has been updated, the ragdolls now have physics, so you can now make any ragdoll giant
