I will try to get a log.
If it helps it started after my house lost power long enough to turn of my computer (like a few seconds). That broke some other mods to so I might do some file editing/replacing to test a few things.
Is this nice thing still working? :-)
You got to understand that for most mod makers it's a hobby, not their job. And without these people these kind of games would not last this long.
It is not very likely that i will get around to resolving the issue correctly anytime soon.
if anyone takes the time to fix the issue first, they should PM me and ill add them as a contributor to the mod
1. store your ship
2. do a blueprint of your base with the garage block
3. spawn your ship
4. grind down the garage block completely
5. weld up the garage block again with the saved blueprint projection of your base
6. now you can spawn the same ship again...

F6 to return to your player
I did a bit of testing trying to spawn in a wide variety of ships in all sizes and it seems that its only the ships that has modded blocks on them that refuse to be spawned back in. Any ship that was 100% vanilla block would spawn in just fine. I have yet to begin stripping ships of modded blocks to try to confirm my suspicion.
Any ideas?
The spectator starts 3 block above the block pointed forward.
Got a two little problems with it when I want to select a grid to store or place to spawn:
1. Mouse sensitivity is a lot lower than usual. Can it be corrected somehow?
2. I can't figure out where spectator camera starts so I often see it obstructed by other blocks and need some time to figure what I'm looking at. Is there some logic to it?
I am looking into the issue.
Thanks for the help and tips @Gauge :D
@Gauge :-D some finest things:
Would it be possible to add the "B" Key for align with gravity :-D :-D ? That would be neat!
