Glass walls, breaking floors traps and jugs with sneaking poisonous surprise are definitely something I would use from this mod. Still any chance to get them standalone?

yeah sorry largely the mod has become defunct (dodge roll changes) and will not be developed at present, but there are elements of the mod (trapmaster) id be interested in creating as a standalone mod in future

It is possible but its likely going to take me awhile, I want to section off this mod into several smaller mods with things such as trapmaster as standalone, and I am still being very slow to update my sorcery and superclasses mod.

Can you make a standalone Mod with only your Dodging-Mechanic ? It is pretty cool. ...and I love the realism instat of the cinematic bullshit, which comes inside of the new patches -.-

im quite happy with the direction of the dodge rebalance and the treb changes, its largely the same kind of balance I was going for(the new dodge roll gives no change in distance) and does make some more radical aspects of my mod as I consider it defunct, which is kind of funny as some feedback I got was changing the dodge system was too radical, now its all being changed for the better imo.

past few weeks I have been working on something as a split off mod however with sorcery so that is more whats on the horizon to come from me

So been a while, (Other games and IRL has been chewing my time.) after going after so many bosses with short sword and shield the only two enemy types that I think are unbeatable are Scorpions and Champion of the Warmaker. They have a few attacks that shield smash and I can't seem to find a viable Dodge and weave tactic without running for dear life dumping into healing items solo. it might be because I suck but wanted to go into it with a set of rules.

All things considered however with the recent Dev. Stream, What your take with their changes to Dodge vs this Dodge system. Honestly I mostly came here for short sword bleed, but with Dodge from here vs. the Dodge we get later, I'm leaning towards the Dodge later. I never really was a fan of the armor class system giving more attributes depending on what armor you wore.

Ok thanks for the reply. I will check for compatability. For the purpose of my full PvP No Rules, Magic Using server, this mod will fit better for me than IQoL so hopefully I can trace the issue. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks

thanks for the feedback @krysez I will look into the feats crash, any additional info might help (other mods installed etc), I know it is unfortunately incompatible with IQoL (sorry my descriptor compatability info got wiped on the update) it seems to be a core file conflict on my end (and idle animations I believe on theirs lol) I will look for solutions to fix this as I know the popularity of IQoL but I can't make any promises

Whenever I open Feats I crash and it seems to be incompatabile with IQoL

there are stat bonuses to each armour class and they scale so you get more grit and agility (well with the right build) with lighter armours, heavy has more staying power but less endurance, so you could kite a heavy round with a bow for instance or javelins, or just have a better chance of fleeing or draining their stamina in general , the shortsword bleed is much better now in the current build of the mod, has a stack limit(of 5) and the bleed dot damage for the short sword specifically is halved, makes it still a decent weapon but by no means OP especially when facing a full armoured opponent given bleeds don't stay stacked as well on the heavy armour's anymore.

I was messing around with a movement speed adjustment at one point on armour classes so you would run at slightly different speeds but im not sure that is the way to go from what I tested but its something I am keeping in mind.

Sounds really fun, Conan is a wonderful game but the pvp is hugely imbalanced in favor of specific weapons and stat layouts with max buffs from consumables.

Short Sword stacking bleed on ALL hits? sounds broken as hell, maybe tune it to heavy swing 3+4 the way 1h Axe does, but who knows, with the heavy armor reducing bleed damage perhaps it's fine.

What benefit is there in wearing Light/Medium armor now if dodge rolling has been removed completely? Won't everyone just wear Silent Legion/Godbreaker?

very weird as I tested it in singleplayer myself, thought it may infact be a in multiplayer or a specific menu after you had said, difficult to think what it could be as well as the files I would assume pippi interacts with I don't believe I would have likely gone into each others overwrite spaces, but yeah any other insight would be great.

Problem persists? Game crashes when I go to open admin pane with Pippi enabled, might be because I'm in single player? I won't be able to confirm it, if anyone else has insight on this would help.

thanks for the feedback! yeah I thought it does make demonblood a tad bit usless myself and will look over that and I have been reducing down the scale of the shortswords bleed and hopefully can fix that poison bug, I remember something like that happened with some weapons on official, I am gearing up for a new release in a few days with lots of new features.

So I've played with the mod, here is what I think overall so far. Short-swords have a pug where if you put scorpion queen poison or specter coating (not sure why you would though.) on it, it lose it's bleed ability entirely and it may as well be dismantled after. Having every hit cause bleed seems a tad OP? right now I'm trying to solo bosses to see what is beatable with a short-sword, (Heavy armor and sometimes a shield). Also coming back to Bombs, I originally read and thought the Jars will take a horn, when the reality it's dragon-power takes the horn. I'm more on a hard no on this cause it nearly makes demon blood completely useless. My alternative that will I think will be rewarding to all is to have dragon-powder be an outcome when you put dragon-horns and dragon-bones into a grinder.

Merrick that is a bit unusual, there can be a visual bug on the UI of it not displaying your armour class until you first equip some armour but other than that all I can think of is mod incompatability? as for Pippi incompatability it is hard to work that one out as they don't publicly list their modified files as far as I can tell, but good to know its incompatible at least for now.

Ah yes by bombs I mean explosive jars, I have been doing more tweaking with different siege mechanics bringing back the old orb greasing with both grease and fire orbs, grease and fire orb(explosive) arrows, and door breaking axes, all should be coming in the next release.

This is an active wip as it stands some decisions I have made (such as the entertainer buff) is setting up stuff for the next or future releases, other stuff a lot that will scream "why isn't it in the base game" has come from my 3k hrs experience on official screaming the same thing lol, feel free to add me to friends if you want to go over any aspects you don't agree with, I should be able to tell you at least my reasoning behind them even if we don't feel the same way.

I'm quite split, some it screams "WHY ISN'T THIS IN THE BASE GAME" Others I don't quite agree with. I'm confused by the "Bombs" do you mean the explosive jars?

I would go into details but I don't think it can all fit into this one comment. I do hope the compatibility issues can be solve with IQoL cause I'm rather interested to see where this goes.

They entertain :D, a Health and stamina recover from watching them currently, thinking of adding a minor buff too, the removal of corruption cleansers beside the brew and the hero was prep for something I have working now for the next release which will be corruption penalties and debuff in the form of revival sickness unless you spawn in the desert (in which case your corruption will be cleansed regardless) this is to slow down the spawns round the corner grabs gear full strength scenario.

Got some super fun things working for next weeks release, lots added to trap master from pitfall traps to snakes in a jar, glass viewing windows, burning coal moats :D along with some more PVP siege raiding balancing mechanics.

I cannot seem to replicate the server crash, I am running a dedicated server launcher 1.0.7 and using the mod list ID in the mod selection, any additional info you could provide would help me diagnose your issues
