past few weeks I have been working on something as a split off mod however with sorcery so that is more whats on the horizon to come from me
All things considered however with the recent Dev. Stream, What your take with their changes to Dodge vs this Dodge system. Honestly I mostly came here for short sword bleed, but with Dodge from here vs. the Dodge we get later, I'm leaning towards the Dodge later. I never really was a fan of the armor class system giving more attributes depending on what armor you wore.
I definitely need this mod so I will keep testing. Thanks for the creative protection and traps!
I was messing around with a movement speed adjustment at one point on armour classes so you would run at slightly different speeds but im not sure that is the way to go from what I tested but its something I am keeping in mind.
Short Sword stacking bleed on ALL hits? sounds broken as hell, maybe tune it to heavy swing 3+4 the way 1h Axe does, but who knows, with the heavy armor reducing bleed damage perhaps it's fine.
What benefit is there in wearing Light/Medium armor now if dodge rolling has been removed completely? Won't everyone just wear Silent Legion/Godbreaker?
This is an active wip as it stands some decisions I have made (such as the entertainer buff) is setting up stuff for the next or future releases, other stuff a lot that will scream "why isn't it in the base game" has come from my 3k hrs experience on official screaming the same thing lol, feel free to add me to friends if you want to go over any aspects you don't agree with, I should be able to tell you at least my reasoning behind them even if we don't feel the same way.
I would go into details but I don't think it can all fit into this one comment. I do hope the compatibility issues can be solve with IQoL cause I'm rather interested to see where this goes.
Got some super fun things working for next weeks release, lots added to trap master from pitfall traps to snakes in a jar, glass viewing windows, burning coal moats :D along with some more PVP siege raiding balancing mechanics.
