@Vandy I just copy tables from original game data.pack with no new rows. Empty rows don't affect at game crashes. Probably that happens because it's old version file.
Thx everyone for support, I still working about possible desicions.
Regarding locating the files and lines relevant to Skaven overwriting of settlement skins - have you tried asking CA?

Both of those will cause crashes. Look up the Rusted Pack File Manager and use that instead

1. karaz a karak is actually changing its skin when occupied by greenskins. its a real model swap.
2. If you conquer one of the wild orc camps north of Khemri as Settra, it will still have the orc skin. But if it gets razed by other factions like the bretonnians, it will become a Tomb King ruin and change its skin. (tomb kings have their own ruin skin). rebuilding it however will it make a orc camp again
You're doing the Chaos God's work.
How do greenskin's major settlements look like? As greenskin's minor or as ocupated dwarf's? - Look at Massif Orcal, it has the right skin. This is the settlement skin from WH1 for orc capitals.
What can I do wtih dwarf's major coast settlements? Cause there is spec texture in game, suitable only for Barak Varr, so if I change it, we'll have scared Barak Varr - The best solution would be using the default karak skin, it may not look perfect, but better than the barak varr skin, because barak varr's skin is only visible from one side, the default skin is visbile from all sides. Same for the orcs.
However I still believe this is something which is moddable.
