I subscribed to it and enabled it in CIV 5 but I couldn't stack my scout onto my warrior.
change game
change AI also
First, it should be easily identifiable if the hex contains a stacked unit; for e.g. there may be an an icon hovering in the corner of unit or under the circular/triangular icon above each unit so that I instantly know it's a stacked tile. Second, I don't think that enemy Units should be allowed to stack on the same tile as the player; this is because it prevents the player from seeing all the enemy units.
I believe that if you could incorporate these two things, it would really make the mod great. Cheers.
Thanks ;)
I load my savegame today, and hit Enter, as I had saved at the end of my turn. My turn again and units still stacked, but for some reason 2 of 3 units stacked say out of moves, and my cavalry can't go to a tile with one infantry. Hit Enter again to end turn, and as it's processing opposition turns, I can see my stacked units being separted into different tiles!?!
Not possible to restack.
Reloaded my savegame multiple times to test, but same thing. Disabling and re-enabling mod. Still no dice.
any ideas what's happened? Was literally a 5 hour window for sleep between it working fine and not at all.
Wish i knew how to create this mod ;(
It probably wouldn't be hard at all. Of course, I will need Beyond Earth first...
This is why I may never get deeply into the game. I'm a big realism junkie. Making them all fight in one hex would be more realistic, even if the animations looked like crap.
I know I said I would try to make a mixed army like in Civ Rev, but I haven't been able to accomplish anything of the sort. I probably won't find out how, but if I do I think I'll make a new mod with more features.
like adding 1 or 2 anti tank guns to 1 or 2 bazookas would make one Tank Hunter Army (as it's default name) or have 3 AT guns TD army or 3 Bazookas to get 1 Tank Hunter unit (strong like an army but acts as one unit that needs it's own tile) ((that way there is no super stack))
