The new lab O2/H2 generators are currently not affected by the changes to oxygen generation rate. Makes me wish Keen gave more general options to adjust multipliers rather than needing to adjust each individual block definition.

Hey Splitsie - quick question. Any chance you could alter the jetpack changes to only impact the player character? I added the AiEnabled mod, but unfortunately the bots it makes can't fly around because of the jetpack changes. Not sure how simple or large an ask that is XD

Yup, I nerfed jetpacks slightly more in the recent update. Today I also added the Vanilla Survival Experience 'impure ores' to the things refinable by the proper refinery. If you're playing with that mod and are needing to refine something, there's a good chance the basic refinery is required, which fits with my overall goals so I'm not going to be changing that behaviour :)

When I get to space and using the spectroscopy mod I'm getting carbon, organic and phosphorus readings! Is this expected behaviour?

I believe the acceleration of jet packs in space was adversely affected by the Mar 25 update.

This should now be fully functional again, with some new tweaks to account for changes since the original release and some improvements that should make the character changes more robust (big thanks to Nev) :)

tubular Same problem. it is quite strange considering that sometimes it can conflict with other mods, and in general interfere with normal game play.

Mod is working as intended for me. I'd reccomend loading it almost last to make sure it doesnt overwrite any other mods you may have on. I mainly use it just for the suit O2 & H2 nerfs

So, I don't see this on the complete list of changes and therefore am guessing this is a bug

With the standard Assembler you cannot craft weapons or bottles. The weapon and equipment tab are completely absent when queueing up components on the standard assembler. Those categories and items, however, are indeed present on the Industrial Assembler.

Tested in a blank world with only this mod

@splitsie. i recently used it again and now it cant create h2, or O2 Bottles, Data Pads or any type of Weapon. I also cant pass any of these items into the Assembler.

If This Challenge Still Is Something People Want To Play, Just Wanted To Point Out That It Creates A Bug With Updated Versions Of SE, That New Tabs For Hydrogen/Oxygen Bottles And Guns Ect Won't Show In Assembler.

@Krat3n dont expect that to happen. As he wrote this mod is ONLY for him to record his Timelapses. And Players as dedicatet to dificulty as him (like me and many others)
Its simply pointless for Splitsie to change this mod beeing usable with any random mod, that he then always need to update to stay kompatible. Accept the mod as it is, or dont use it.

Is there any chance you can make a compatibility with the better resources mod? because that mod requires the advanced refinery to process a "shale" material to make oil, but because of this mod I can't put that ore into the refinery, it doesn't allow me to do so, I would love if you could make this mod compatible with that other mod

It took longer than it should have but the industrial refinery is now included in the 'no stone' list :)

Is it just impossible to start on a non oxygenated planet? I tried starting on the moon and ran out of ice in a couple minutes from start.

I tweaked my local copy to make them not process stone just like regular refineries. Mainly just to see if I could do it. Now that I figured that out, I think I'll try putting stone back in but make them more expensive to build and operate. Might just add thruster components so that they’re more of a top tier block.

If you are reviewing this now that Survival Impossible is starting back up - I noticed that this does not keep Industrial Refineries from processing stone. It might be cool to allow them to but make them cost more to build.

I think you may have to add these lines to the Character.sbc file because it has been added by Keen Software in one of their updates:

<FootprintDecal>Footprint</FootprintDecal>
<FootprintMirroredDecal>Footprintmirrored</FootprintMirroredDecal>

(It is in line 20 and 21 in their game Character.sbc file)

As the name says, I am pretty sure that it handles the footprints from the Character:selike:

As a quick fix for the Consumables tab, I found the file in the mod that needs to be edited.

1. Go to your Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\{your_id}\1898682750\Data\CubeBlocks folder.
2. Open CubeBlocks_Production.sbc in an editor.
3. Find the definition for "LargeAssembler". Within that, there's an element called "BlueprintClasses". This is the list of tabs that appear in the assembler. It should be on line 123.
4. Add "<Class>EliteConsumables</Class>" to the end of the list, after the "BuildPanner" line, and before the closing "</BlueprintClasses>".
5. Save the file, and reload your game.

Warfare 1 also added consumables to the basic assembler, but this mod doesn't override that block, so it should still be working correctly.

These changes will get overwritten the next time the mod is updated.

@ (FL) мужчина Флорид - I'd suggest you make a local copy of the mod and delete all the changed files that don't handle the refinery/stone properties. Much quicker this way.

I love your tutorials, i just started watching your hardcore survival series that features this mod. I'm downloading and I'm excited to try it. Our play style is identical. Make it realistic beyond belief so that there is an actual challenge even once you have determined optimal use of game mechanics. Keep up the awsome content thankyou.

The basic refinery will give you gravel as it can refine stone, it's only the proper refinery that can't

I think I'd like to see a method for obtaining Gravel a bit easier if its not able to be produced from the refineries. Or was the point to only use the survival kit to get gravel? ;)

Another alternative could be a gravel processing block that takes stone and outputs gravel at a rate suitable for the idea behind this mod?

Use the survival kit to process stone, it has its own very slow built in refinery.
