Anyone is welcome to update this mod. I have been consumed by Distant Worlds 2 and a much larger mod I'm building there.

At some point I may return to Stellaris, but it's not something on my current radar.

Since I haven't updated this in at least 6mos, there are likely some issues with it. But I just don't have the time to maintain it myself. Apologies, and hopefully someone would like to update it themselves. It's not a lot of files to update, but you have to look at the differences in how things are from Stellaris today as compared to 6mos ago (thereabouts).

Some folks might want to check out Distant Worlds 2. Not quite the same experience as Stellaris - different cuppa - but a hellova game in its own right.

updated to indicate 3.2 compatibility - but this is a minor mod - crashing / causing launcher issues is outside of this mod's abilities.

After trying this I kind of understand why they changed it. Having the long wind-up and quick travel makes the game far more responsive.

There is no descriptor file. So the launcher swears. Suddenly it will fix it. Please, is it possible to fix your mod, the mod does not want to work correctly in the new version 3.2

I'm unaware of a system that allows this.
The excellent star trek mod for stellaris basically spawns maps with maximum nodes - and hides them visually - and slows travel - so that it's sort of like original warp drive.

Pretty sure that they removed it from the engine entirely.

Ah. I was looking to see if I could turn the unrealistic jump drive tech into a very buffed variety of the warp drive from old Stellaris.

The concept remains the same. There are more engines & Jump types.

Does these change the way jump drive works? Does it make it behave more like a warp drive or is it still instantaneous?

NSC and default version of the game. Now with this mod, Juggernaut has engines.

Peleon - class_restrictions includes shipclass_starbase to each of the drives already...

Peleon - that's weird...
Are you running a mod that adds those or augments them?

This mod changes the globals - it doesn't rely on a per-class setting ... so sounds like something else is interferring, but ???

Does not work with Juggernaut ship-class.
