There are only a handful of custom maps that do have overlay

Also there's no tactical map overlay

Really keen for this to be tied in with a few other maps, all invasion mode and maybe liberation to switch it up occasionally.

I try to play every day when possible and some real pvp action here would be awesome.

whats pathetic is everything is right there! just put causeway, carentan, tobruk, this one here. well whats left of the community should do it.. the {WeB} guys used to play a night a week, PVP on customs.. we need 1 custom pvp server.. COMMUNITY! we no need no stinkin devs!

I have to give kudos to the author (vio) for designing this map. It's not too taxing on CPU/GPU resources and is three times as fun as NWI's Crete (Dunkirk was not as expansive as I hoped when NWI released it) and despite the limitations of the Source engine, this map is almost lifelike in appearance.

There are some bugs that need to be ironed out, e.g. AI bots spawning on the side of the rocks and cannot move. Quality maps like this could have been in an expansion pack but NWI had unwisely decided to invest heavily in Sandstorm, which isn't making much progress either.

really good map with lots of detail, i think i even prefer it to several of the official ones.

PVP as already suggested, map crashed for me after loading. Game also needs some real admin, I am willing to volunteer.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DEVS!!! make these maps, and the {WeB} created maps played PVP.. there has to be a way.. want some deep engagement maps!

So this is essentially a "offline" map? Hopefully the devs will include it in the roster. There is / are a few maps that were created from the community.

Absolutely great map!
Congratulation to the creator(s). There a few remaining bugs and I think that the spawn limit for the germans on capturing A should be a little more expended as it is easy to camp the stairs and shoot them all. But beside that again, congratulations for the quality of this map! I hope it becomes official so we can all play on it!

This workshop haven't seen quallity i na while. Good job, I hope you implement co-op soon enough

@Bottled: make sure you're selecting Invasion as the gamemode when you start via Practice menu.

I did it in practice mode...

@Bottled Wehrmacht: You need to launch via the practice menu, or with "map gibraltar invasion" in console. Or just join the server info that I posted above.

hi, nice map, but server side i would recommend you to use 40 slots and a plugin which switch between official playlist and custom for Gilbraltar will be easier to fill it. pm me for more info

wonderful map you can really notice the details like the prone tunnel to the right of the first point. There needs to be a server that runs with custom maps
