You don't.

Hi. Well, I like the changes, but I've hit a wall. How do I level my thralls if no XP can be gained by killing mobs ?

@Swarth Shades of Agony has it. Not sure for how long. It depends of how it feels and of feedback from others. Maybe some new players might find it hard. Server is low on population now. Players stopped and seems like some of them are on standby.

My server did, which I had up for a couple days. I took it down as I've got some more refinement of my mods to do.
Swarth 5 Jun, 2020 @ 8:23am
Any servers running this mod?

Thralls are now unfucked. Also just released my equipment overhaul. This overhaul is pretty much done now :D

Yeah they still haven't released the docs on the new thrall system, there's 0 for me to go off of. Tried to follow up on it, but they haven't responded at all. And I've no idea how to test the stuff out, in order to reverse engineer it.

been taking interest in this mod for my own personal one , follows similar lines to yours though I was aiming to make the NPCs as strong as the Cimmerian camp or Set city so I know all my thralls are decent no matter where they come from. is ann
oying though Funcom dragging chains in modding department.
FiftyTifty  [author] 8 Feb, 2020 @ 10:51pm
Update: Unfortunately, Funcom has not documented how the new thrall levelling and stat system works, so there's no frame of reference to work off in un-fucking the thralls. Robtheswede took note of that, and asked Funcom's coders to document what it does. There's no ETA at all, so this is on hold for now, unfortunately, unless someone has info on the new thrall stats system.

I've finished making the tool for editing ItemStatModifications. All the armour in the game have had the temperature rebalanced, and stat buffs removed. All craftable armours will only give +/- 1 temperature, with certain rare items +/- 2. You will have to rely on consumables and tools to survive extremely hot and cold areas. Work continues.

I think they should have added copper/bronze tier for after stone. Hardened steel really should be more the end game metal along with star metal. Star metal after all is just meteoric iron which is really no better then hardened steel which is essentially just iron that has had carbon added. The star metal or meteor iron would need to be hardened same as steel is. Meteoric metals in the past were really only valued for their rareity and mystique, they didn't really make any better weapons then a good weaponsmith could make with earthly materials.

Oh it's gonna be great. I've planned it out so that everything will have their damaged set around hardened steel, except stone weapons. Iron weapons will have the same damage as hardened steel, but fuck all durability. Weapons in general will have much lower durability as well. Star metal will have the same damage as hardened steel, but durability will be kept close to vanilla.

This ties into another mod I made, where steel is made by smelting iron and coal, and hardened steel by smelting steel and water flasks. Steelfire will be used for crafting explosives, building materials, and maybe a few exotic weapons.

Combat stat bonuses for gear will be removed completely, so you are essentially creating your own class through the stats panel. DLC Gear will have the same stats as the other weapons.

Materials needed for gear will be dependent on what the gear looks like it's made out of. E.g, The armour has feathers? You'll need to get feathers.

Very cool, the weapon and armor rebalance will be nice as well.

So this will be updated once I'm done working on the program.
FiftyTifty  [author] 24 Jan, 2020 @ 9:32am
This hasn't been updated to accommodate the latest thrall update that fucked around with stats. I've resumed modding Conan Exiles, and am currently working on a program that will allow rebalancing of all weapons and armour, including the DLC.

I find that imps are killing the npcs too easily. I watched four imps kill three thralls one with iron daggers and in the end there was still two imps left. Just heads up, good mod otherwise.

I can't remember if I touched the purge NPCs. I'll be going over the entire purge system when I re-gain interest in Conan Exiles again, so if they're not covered currently, they will be in the future.
Swarth 13 Dec, 2019 @ 8:37pm
Great stuff! Love the idea of this mod, does this effect purges as well? Seems like purges are significantly easier compared to NPCs out and about.

We didn’t touched the NPCHealthMultiplier in the Serversettings.ini, it’s still 1.00000 which means Vanilla for NPCs, Monsters and Thralls/Pets. We only changed NPCDamageTakenMultiplier to 0.700000, which means NPCs, Monsters and Thralls/Pets take 30% Less Damage than vanilla. We didn’t try your Mod till now but we really are considering it because we are searching for a way which makes the game harder.
FiftyTifty  [author] 3 Nov, 2019 @ 11:44pm
@bijay That really shouldn't happen with my mod. Do you already have it uploaded to your server? If it does occur, then I must have mucked something up. How much health does a t1, t2, t3, and t4 thrall have on your server?

They should have the same health as their free range counterparts.
TwoJay 3 Nov, 2019 @ 11:12pm
Hi @FiftyTifty - We allways tried to make the game harder, but unfortunately if you increase NPC-HP, NPC Damage and NPC damage taken in the serversettings.ini you also increase it for Thralls and Pets. There are no seperate setups for NPCs, Monsters and Thralls/Pets. The entries Minion HP,Minion damage and momiom damage taken are not valid. So if we increase the values above it is still possible to manage the wine cellar or warmaker dungeon just by your thrall. Thats ok for SP but not good for harder gameplay on Server-MP. Thralls are OP for this type of playstyle. Do you know a way to nerf them?
