I like this selection of weapons a lot. Essentially they're just reskinned versions of already existing weapons that you have to research separately, but they feel so much nicer to use! With my general playstyle i prefer to have a short response time with a trade-off of having a longer cooldown. I can also see the opposite - longer aiming for the barely noticeable reload, so you could aim, shoot and then quickly reposition.
It's just nice to have it as an option.

@Oskar Potocki I know, that's literally in the mod description. But autopistol already fires pretty damn quick. So i just kind of feel like it's not different enough from autopistol. The name doesn't help it either.

But mostly i'm just making a joke about it, it's not meant to be a serious criticism.

It fires quicker but takes longer after it fires. The timing is equal to autopistol, it just trades warmup for longer cooldown.

Why does automatic pistol exist? It's just autopistol. Or rather... an even more autopistol autopistol. Why are you trying to outautopistol the autopistol?

I really love these weapon design, modern, rim vibe, balance. But i must complain about the lack of variety. pls add Melee, MG, Minigun, Launcher with the same style as well :sad_seagull:

@devoured.by.incandescence Absolutely no nuance in this thread. There is nothing inherently wrong with bullpups that makes "Everyone who has ever fired one hate them". I own and shoot multiple rifles of both types and, yes, I prefer traditional and think it is better. Definitely not more accurate lol.

Also many bullpups can be swapped from right to left handed, the AUG comes to mind, so that seems like your own fault. Plus some like the P90 are ambidextrous by default.

Gotta love internet "experts" whose only knowledge of firearms comes from cawadoody video games that haven't ever even shouldered a weapon. Here's a tip, actually shoot one a few times.

also for any bullpup lovers out there who've never fired one,(lets be real, no one who likes these guns has ever fired one) I sure hope you aren't left-handed like I am, otherwise I hope you enjoy choking down hot exhaust fumes while your face gets peppered with hot casings. that was a fun one

But If you want to pretend that getting gassed in the face means you shoot more accurately, you can just tweak the XML yourself.

I was hoping for more long range accuracy with the rifles because of the bull-pup design, turn out they are just the same as the normal assault rifle with some range cool down changes, hope you can tune them a little bit because irl bull-pup are known to be more accurate at long range thanks to their longer barrel than traditional assault rifles
still a big thank tho, the model look absolutely spot on. and ive been using tons of your other mods too so just thought I'd share my view <3

@Neitronus ce player here, for some reason the CE patch for this mod also renames the guns here, unlike every other ce ve patch.

I think the infographic on the PDW is wrong... they have the same base damage as the heavy smg, 12, instead of 4. Might be useful to add that to the changelog :)

HAYO looks like the Bullpup-DMR doesnt register as a heavy weapon, where the standard DRM does. minor tweek needed. the boys love their DMRs <3

Could you help with identifying the bullpup DMR? I'm trying to find the actual name of the weapon, but googling for it doesn't help that much.

To clear up confusion I'm talking about the bullpup DMR's name, where it came from, etc.

Also thinking stun grenades could inflict a hearing/vision/movement penalty that lasts longer, if spamming them is still an issue. They'd be more about tossing one into a group for a lasting debuff. They would be more useful in coordinated assaults and spamming would serve no purpose.

Hi Oskar/team!

Can I suggest adding stun grenades to the quickdraw package?

I love the new changes with long cooldown that make them non-spammable, but id love to use them to breach and clear rooms with the rest of the quick draw set. Lot of opportunities t odo so with the new large scale ruins your mods and the expansions add.

In order to use them as part of the "quick-draw/high-speed low drag tier one operator slaying bodies" set, pawns need to be able to toss them the moment a door opens or a wall is breached to capitalize on the element of surprise. Would really reinforce the quickdraw playstlye.

Maybe make this "no aim time" only true for use-limited grenade belts in general, or give the stun grenade toss an extra second on cooldown?

Always thought long aim times for grenades were silly anyways..

Also, a couple quickdraw charge weapons would be so cool!

You'll want to recheck the weapon tags, I have a tribal chief armed with a bullpup.

Against him, there is a Space Pirate armed with a derringer from your other mod, Frontier. Non sensical too.
