Hows a stupid sound replacement mod break with any little update? I don't know.
You can test it yourself if you like, find a another mod that changes the fall damage sound, wack the crowbar around to see if it's another mod reusing that sound, and feel free to let me know. But I'm willing to say it might be on my end. Working on even a stupid simple mod like this is getting harder to do right now.
Also I need to give props to you using the full quote instead of shortening it. It geniunly caught me off guard, I needed that today.
I'll get to it at some point, I have stuff I need to do, but I should have more free time by the end of the week, hopefully. But for now:
would be pretty cool to hear some more of him talking throughout the game, but that might be a bit complicated. lol
still awesome though, this works way better than the " Ross Scott as Freeman's voice" mod. that one doesn't work, even with the snd_restart command (i was hoping it would, but guess not)
I would love to expand it, because I realize that Freeman's aditude in "Freeman's Mind" is pretty similar to what a first time player would act like and the way a player does need to think in order to do well. Or for the orginal game at least.
But I do not have a clue how to work with the source engine, at all. I hope someone else can make a mod that works the way as you discribed. But for now, I'll stick to what I have right now.
Once you're there then go into bms folder then custom, find fm_sounds then delete the VPK and the sound cache
then go into black mesa the game and used snd_restart
However, I should warn: Black Mesa's workshop is bugged, so you'll have to do the custom folder thing.
anyway: you made a good purchase so enjoy the game.
Now I need to go back in my mod to see if it's possible.
