Catching up on comments... Unexpected cim behavior is to be expected since we're using game systems in unintended ways here.

Use Vehicle Selector to restrict your cable car stations to only cable cars and the chair lift stations to only chair lifts.

Paths can be started just behind the main gate building, there's invisible pedestrian paths going through the building itself. Or any nature reserve gate can also be used.

Ski Rope Lift is for bunny hills, I added that in 2.0 update but forgot to take any screenshots.

I haven't tested this pack since my last update and my save won't load now, so I'll be working on a new ski resort build to make sure everything is still working as it should and to make a much needed video tutorial.

how do i use ski trails they say they arent connected to a road even tho they are what do i conect them too???

For the love of it I cannot get anyone to visit my ski park. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Made the slope connect as a loop, but cable cars dont attach to them? cant make a pedestrian path from the entrance and I cannot get the path to connect to the cable lift either. Its wildly populat but noone visits. Does this still work?

You can use "Vehicle Selector 1.4" to select snowboarder and skier for the line, works fine for me.
Only real serious issue I cant get rid off is that the tourists never actually go off the "bus" and after random time it will get stuck underground with "confused", then despawn, basicly getting on the bus is a one way trip that they never come back from.

I couldn't get the tour bus stops to work on the Ski Paths since IPT2 has been replaced and no longer compatible with Plaza's and Promenade game update.

This "asset collection" is really awesome. There are a few things that didnt work for me tho; couldnt connect any walkpath to the main building; connecting walkpath to ski roads was impossible so you have to make wonky "bus stations" so that ppl can board and bus still works (usually only could get 2 lines per station to work);I didnt understood the "ski ropes" either, didnt work; garbage is not "collected" to the gates/main building.
I wish you make something like this on water with jetski and that sort of things!!!
Thx a lot for that ski resort it was really cool to build! (aside the problems of course)

I love this. Though, the chairlifts ruined my cable cars, so I don't use them, but other than that, this is great! Can you please also make a water park version? I'd like a water park similar to the amusement park, even if it is in a winter map

One little problem I have, is that people are standing on the ski tracks at some points waiting for taxi that of course never shows up. Blocked all ski-lanes (Including staging points as far as possible) to all traffic exept busses using TM PM.
If anybody got an idea, would be great.

• Rope Lift network + prop for bunny hills
• Snowboarder [sightseeing bus]
• Skier (alternate version) [sightseeing bus]
• Ski Resort signs (Mount Bohemia and a blank sign for PO Font)

While I never experienced the invisible skier problem myself, I am having that problem with the Snowmobile asset I created. The model and texture imports fine, but when I try to use it in-game, it's invisible but works (can see the snow particles it kicks up behind it and click on it). If anyone has any relevant info that might help, it'd be appreciated.

Regarding the few reports of an invisible skier...I had originally dumped the model from both skier props on the workshop to try and make vehicles. One worked, the other kept doing somersaults (something I since learned is fixed with vertex painting and vehicle shaders), so I only used the one that worked. But when importing the model, although nothing displayed in the preview it showed up fine after creating it. Maybe that's what's causing the problem? I'm working on a possible fix and will double check shaders & whatnot, plus adding the other skier which didn't have that model problem. Will also be adding a Snowboarder and a few new items. Update coming soon.

@TwoBobNumpty I use LSM just fine with this pack and 9000 other assets.

@principiante Natural Disasters is only used on the Rescue Tower, with a firewatch sub-building to give it fire detection ability in addition to park functionality. So the Rescue Tower may not load, or maybe just load without the sub building? I'm not exactly sure how that works as I play with all game features.

I think LSM is causing the invisible skier. There is no thumbnail for skier when LSM is enabled. Do you have any idea how to fix this please? It's such an amazing mod. I appreciate the work you have put in to make it and I would love it so much if you could help. thank you

Also everytime I set route to Skier it changes back to sightseeing bus within seconds.

I'm having the same problem with invisable skier. LSM has put Skier Vehicle on unused list. When click on it takes me to whole Ski resort. In game I have set Vehicle to Skier.

Ok so everything works except i cannot see the skier, only the snow being kicked up, almost as if I'm missing the skier asset or something and its not loading in...

Barring that, you could also try the 1x1 Invisible Sightseeing Bus Spawn Point from ninjanoobslayer's pack (that's all the skier spawn point is anyways).

I'm not familiar with ITM2, unless you mean IPT2? Skier Spawn works on my end; it used to have a Ski Flag prop to make it visually identifiable but they were removed from the workshop, I'm working on a replacement to add back in. Move It selection box set to Buildings will help locate it, just make sure it's next to the ski trails and it *should* work.

I can't seem to see the skier spawn, can see the snow trail though. ITM2 doesn't recognize the skier spawn point as a depot. Thoughts?

Having the pack featured on the One Hour Build Challenge has motivated me to revisit the Chair Lift system. I just learned how to edit 3d models so now I have in testing a height fixed version of the Ski Lift Cables with 5 pillar types at varying angles activated at different elevations, single cables instead of double cables on either side, gravitative chairs, and hopefully ground level station stops instead of 2nd floor so the nodes don't lower the terrain of the terminal/terminus (still trying to figure this last one out). Will try to extend the length of the terminus too so it's 2 units in length to stop the gap in the cables. Coming soon.

@le d'airain, the original ski resort assets from which I modified this pack are no longer on the workshop, including those ski flags, so it's a good thing I made this set. Unfortunately the ski flags were props so I never made local copies of those. They were a nice way to section off the ski staging area bus stops, now it's just blank. :/

@ezanrki Yeah it looks like all the original ski resort assets were removed from the workshop, good thing I made alternate copies. I can send you the file for just the ski slope lighting from this pack, just be aware it's a Parklife asset.

I had a huge ski resort built using many of these props, but now the standalone ski slopes light has been removed from the workshop basically ruining the appearance of my ski area. I noticed its part of your pack, but I was wondering if you would be able to make a standalone version for me? I tried myself but couldnt get it to work (cant get it to emit light).

@Gregster There is no "snowbus". The skiers function as 1 person sightseeing buses (Parklife DLC) and you need Improved Public Transport 2 to skin the tour bus line as Skiers only.

Brilliant! Easy to use and adds life to a large area that would otherwise be rather static other than chair lifts and cable cars. Thank you for creating this asset and assembling other helpful ones into the collection.

In addition to the last comment I should point out I've skinned the skiers as pointed out in an earlier comment, and despite this, they're still not visible. The skier does not have a picture next to their asset name in the vehicle selection (all other tour-bus options do including other custom assets). Unclear why this is. Thanks :)

Hi, cool pack. I've been playing around with it this evening. One issue I was having is that although I can lay down the sightseeing bus route / spawn points for the skiers, and I can see the snow spray coming up from the skiers as the go down the route, the skiers themselves are never visible (though I can select the area where they should be and see their 'sightseeing bus' stats - how far through the route they are, etc. Is there a common reason that could cause them not to appear - before I start experimenting with the wrong things.

No tutorial yet, screenshots are pretty self explanatory. Skier staging area is a bus station to make it easy to organize ski routes (sightseeing bus stops). Try Anarchy if you're having trouble placing it, but it should plop next to the ski trails.

The chair lift system isn't perfect, but it sorta works. Hopefully Colossal Order can create a better version in the future with correct heights, cables lined up, skiers loaded, one way usage, etc.

Yeah no problem. There were some great ski assets from years past that never got updated for newer expansions and I wanted a functional (or semi-functional) ski resort set, so I made it.

The ski slope lights, rescue towers and snow guns all add entertainment value to increase the attractiveness of your ski slopes for the sightseeing bus routes (skiers/slopes) too.

Skier spawn points are just a 1x1 invisible sightseeing bus depot to spawn the skiers (sightseeing buses). Place it somewhere along your ski slopes so that it can spawn skiers (use IPT2 to skin your sightseeing bus route and spawn from the correct depot).
