hello, I am a bit late for WH3 version, because there were some changes in WH3 data, and I was a bit busy to find out importing this without problem.
unfortunately, WH3 version doesn't support technology added lord. Will try find out how to do that.

For anyone looking to download this mod, a few considerations:

-It is completely unusable in Custom Battles as the mod-added mounts turn the Lord into a non-Lord unit, making the custom battle un-startable. "You must have a Lord selected"

-Seems to break animations seemingly at random (refer to previous comments for details).

-Mounts are not universal across all Lords. Pistol variants do not get Necrofex.

-Named Lords are un-changed. No new mount options for named Lords.

Thats unfortunate. I wonder if something like this is doable coupled with animations swap, which i sometimes see in other mods like this one https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2637960395 .

It doesn't work. Model breaking.

But I guess chariot can be used because chariot mount require stading only.

Because they don't make attack animation and just standing, performance might be a bit bad.

I see. It will be great if you could take a look and see if it can work or not.
Big monster mounts is cool and all, but i miss the utility of simple early level mounts, that all of the other races(except scaven and dwarfs) have access to.
Since steeds and boars arnt the theme of the VCoast, and goblin's Giant wolf isnt possible, i figured out Cold ones might be the only option left.

I tried to mess a bit with tables from some of the mount mods, but so far the only thing i ended up with is headache from all of the different strings and tables.
So yeah, if you could at least take a look and let me know if it can or can not work, i will be very happy, so that idea will bother me no more !

I guess they will not work well. Vcoast use human skeleton model, and as I remmember elf animation can’t use it. I didn’t test about coldone but It would be same I guess.

Hey Taste of Campitalism once again. I want to ask you, how hard will be putting VCoast lords on the mount like LMen/DE Cold ones ?

I'm guessing that Admiral(female) with pistol wont be possible since there is no mounted pistol shooters in the game, but what about Admiral(male) with halberd using DE Master or HE Noble animations ? Perhaps Fleet captain(hero) with DE Dreadlord(female) or Malekith animations ?

I recommand using mod of jenosite for vampire count faction.
deck dropper mount option is interresting, but I almost stopped modding these days.
I only re updating my old mods fr now.

Hi, i always found that vampire coast mounts choice was really terrible, it's nice to see your mod fixing this issue !
Plus i was wondering if it was possible for you to give admiral (female) the deck dropper mount by replacing the gunner by the hero in the bat's claws ?

Since deck droppers are absolutely useless, a hero would make good use of it !

Yeah I had those filled out properly, just wasn't changing for some reason. Anyways I've kind of given up on getting a Dragon to work properly with the Coast as I've spent a good dozen hours trying to get it to work with little progress. Thank you very much for the continued responses, you've been very helpful and I appreciate the time you've taken to respond!

campaign mount model is related to "campaign_mount_animation_set_overrides_tables"
adding this table will make model change in campaign map.
I guess battlefield model would be fine.

It would be not possible because of difference in model skeleton.

Hi ! Just wanted to ask if it technically possible to mount those characters on mounts like Counts steed or going weird and put them on scurvy dogs, in similar vein goblins do, or the goblin riders for example use different goblin model ?

Turns out the Star Dragon is likely incompatible with the Vampire skeletons so I'm changing it to a Zombie Dragon instead. Filled it out exactly like the Star Dragon, the game allows me to learn the skill and equips the mount; Unfortunately the model on the campaign map doesn't change and it still considers my mount to be a Necrofex Colossus on the battle map. Any idea of how to fix this? Here are some screenshots showing what I mean.

one battle worked, next battle broken.. sorry but not sure about that. maybe checking 'battle personalities' , 'culture battle animation' 'unit variants' will be helpful?

-4th screenshot is campaign animation screenshot. LLords animation is used on necrofex, but big bat and crab uses their original little crab mount animation.
-will work well without update, because this mod doesn't change original value of game. although I will update my mods on my compliation if asked

Weirdly my mount seems to have broken animations in battle now, worked right for one battle and now the model is morphing all over the place in battles. Thanks for the help anyway!

Hey, seems like a nice addition, but can you please clarify, as im not completely sure, judging by screenshots alone ?
-Will the Lord have proper campaign animation, and if so are those animations custom or copied from LLords ?
-Is this mod tend to work after updates or it usually breaks after ?

I filled out everything to the best of my ability according to your advice, and after about 40 minutes I am now the proud rider of a Star Dragon.

Thinking about your current problem (mount unavaillable after buying skill) and question, I recommand checking these table.


ancillaries_included_agent_subtypes_tables
-necessary for allocating mount option on which character type

ancillaries_required_skills_tables
-matching mount unlock skill and mount option

ancillaries_tables
-type of mount and allocating mount option on which character specifically

character_skill_level_details_tables
-table about what level will mount skill unlocked

character_skill_level_to_ancillaries_junctions_tables
-Important table about giving mount. if mount is not given, should be checked first. ex) skill, mount name

Oh okay that's fair! Still a fantastic mod regardless, it really adds to the immersion on the campaign map and makes the Coast's Lords much more viable against the High Elf Dragons. The Vampire Coast really needs more mount/unit expansion type content like this. I'm trying to figure out the modding and it's definitely tough so thank you very much for your work!

If you don't mind me asking, how were you able to add mounts to the Admirals? I searched around for guides on Mount modding and the closest thing I found was an Ancillary guide which was well done but a bit vague. I managed to figure out how to add the skill for a mount (Star Dragon worked, haven't tried the others) to the male Admiral by following the example shown by your mod in Pack Manager, but after buying the skill it doesn't make the mount available. Would I need to make a custom unit or something like that?

첫번째는 투사체 발사형 스킬이 원래 좀 버벅거려서 생기는 문제인거같고

모드 감사합니다! 여해적군주가 테러가이스트 탈 것을 타면 방화광 스킬 발사가 안되고 정지해있습니다.
그리고 남해적군주가 레비아탄 탈 것을 타면 총알이 없어서 큰 의미는 없지만 원거리 스탯을 활용이 안되네요.
두 가지 문제 픽스 부탁드려요.
