Whenever I engage the clutch, it like locks up for a few seconds then shuts the clutch off. I cant go faster than 20.

@HornissenHans94 thanks for pointing this out, it also fixed a problem where after a while of going good it suddenly stops for no reason, assuming the air just got choked out with other things.

You can Fix the starting issue by going to the Editor and look to the Engine Air Input. There is a Valve at the beginning of the Pipe (4 Pieces) Click them with the selection tool and allow only Air to come in disable the other ones.

I don't remember if it has reverse gear but at least you can use this:
- Forward/backward electric propulsion for close-range maneuvering

Ah yeah perhaps that is it. I was thinking none of the missing components sounded important (there was like 2-3) but maybe one was blocking a hole. I'll try again when I have all the research done.

When I spawn this in career mode the back end will instantly plummet into the water, then it floats with about half out, nose pointed at sky. Not sure why. Was looking forward to this as an upgrade for the Argos starter boat which was amazing.

Hey Thales! I've been modifying the Argo in my Career since starting.
I've researched enough to move up to the MPV 9, however the medium winch for this ship has since been updated and no longer spawns.

Just thought I should let you know. In the meantime I'm going to try and figure out where the winches were so I can get the new ones working!

Ok, I've been using the ship reliably all day now with the fuel in the side tanks, so that must have been it. This thing is awesome BTW, thanks!

I think I had pumped the fuel to the center tank. Does that one not feed the engines?

Fuel was full, don't think I mixed in any ocean water. To start the engine all that should be required is the pump key is turned, and there's a non-zero throttle setting right?

I've tried combination of clutch on and off, throttle up and down, it just cranks and never turns over and then I run out of electricity. Somehow I got it to start once but after a short while it died and wouldn't start again.

You can go reverse using electric propulsion.
