Well worst comes to worse you can just lay down a well in space
Sandermatt 17 Aug, 2020 @ 4:56am
@test no need to download anything, use the "mod settings" in the settings menu.
test 12 Aug, 2020 @ 10:56am
wher to download dubs native compatibility feature
g0jira 9 Aug, 2020 @ 4:06am

CTH2004 16 Jul, 2020 @ 9:07am
@Ashryl

It is no longer nescesary, at least so it says
Ashryl 14 Jun, 2020 @ 4:53pm
It would be so amazing if this could get an update, showers in space is just incredible, please please could we get an update for this patch?
rat gaming 11 Jun, 2020 @ 6:52pm
It was part of Bad Higiene's experiment features, before SOS got updated they asked Dubs to remove the feature since it'd break some stuff on SOS.
So now we need a patch again.
=(e)= Lemonater47 10 Jun, 2020 @ 4:30am
Whats the native compatibility feature?
JessieFeathers 7 Jun, 2020 @ 4:17pm
1.1?
Rzabat 28 May, 2020 @ 11:16am
Yeah I noticed that. Also doesnt work when trying to generate enemy ships, so I just disabled it.
Newper5 27 May, 2020 @ 1:26pm
@Rzabat It appears to conflict with the radiators and thermal conduits. This patch breaks the thermal conduits in the hull, and stops radiators from deploying. If you're not doing anything in your ship to generate heat, you can get away with it, but as soon as you have a reactor or something it becomes a problem.
Rzabat 25 May, 2020 @ 2:30pm
It appears that it DOES work with 1.1. Guys try it and let me know since I managed to get it to work.
khaelion 23 May, 2020 @ 8:10am
Update, please!
Dr. Gimlidude 22 May, 2020 @ 8:43pm
I echo everyone else. Hope this gets updated to 1.1
AsidMjolnir 18 May, 2020 @ 2:33pm
Would love to see this get updated again, please!
Rook 6 May, 2020 @ 1:37pm
If possible please make this patch work
Rook 6 May, 2020 @ 1:02pm
Dub got told to remove the native compatibility feature so it doesn't work with sos2
rat gaming 29 Apr, 2020 @ 9:00pm
Anyone know if the patch as is works? If not, any clues if the author or other modder could make and updated patch?
Fassina 19 Apr, 2020 @ 2:15pm
Welp Dubs just removed the compatibility from his native release in a recent patch so I guess this could use an upgrade..
DASH 5 Mar, 2020 @ 5:47pm
@sparranova the patch for dubs hygiene stopped working after dubs updated back in Jan or Feb so definitely not unfortunately. However once you go to space you can turn off hygiene needs in mod settings I believe
SparraNova 3 Mar, 2020 @ 3:51pm
Does this (and the other SoS2 patches by extension) still work properly with 1.1?
Sea's 27 Feb, 2020 @ 3:36pm
Following is the debug script I'm getting.

Exception ticking Ship_LifeSupport1205432 (at (80, 0, 136)): System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'DubsBadHygiene.CompWaterStorage' from assembly 'BadHygiene, Version=2.5.7217.23609, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

I've checked the loading order and it seems to be in order
Sea's 27 Feb, 2020 @ 3:07pm
The ship life support doesn't seem to generate any water
Screaminediot 22 Feb, 2020 @ 7:30pm
i seem to be having the same problem as everyone else, after checking my load order, replacing that file, and testing alot of other things, i went dev mode and put a well and pump in space and somehow it worked again, showers for all!
sinnes 15 Feb, 2020 @ 10:13am
@DOG What's your mod load order? I have tried unchecking the SoS2 integration box, restarting the game, creating a new save but i still get the to many heap sections error message.
DOG 10 Feb, 2020 @ 7:54pm
As of the update to dubs bad hygiene that dropped today: Compatibility to dubs bad hygiene is now done through an option in the hygiene mod itself. Meaning, that if you're getting the too many heap sections error from loading ship debris, go into the dub hygiene settings and then go into experimental features and uncheck SoS2 integration. Restart your game, and it should work fine afterwards.
Dirandir <TBB> 30 Jan, 2020 @ 6:43am
@Sixdd there are various errors with just the Bad Hygiene mod then, I cannot load any space encounters with only SOS2 and Dubs installed. If I remove Dubs it works though.
#6 30 Jan, 2020 @ 2:22am
Just throwing this up here in case someone doesn't see it themself. Dubs Bad Hygiene now supports Save Our Ship 2 natively, this addon mod is no longer needed. Please unsub from this addon to fix the various glitches you are having with the two mods.
meto30 26 Jan, 2020 @ 2:12pm
@Bot_ If you're referring to the life support module churning out errors, there's a custom dll file someone wrote in Kentington's absence if you scroll down the comment section.
Luksusbeistet 18 Jan, 2020 @ 3:53pm
So, the part of the ship I built in space is cold. Like -100 degrees celcius.
I also discovered that if I built a new part of the ship in space and removed the shiphull connecting it I wasn't able to build floor on that spot. It said it didn't have any ship-part connected to it. So now I got a hole in my ship at the doors into the new part.
Loqster 12 Jan, 2020 @ 3:42pm
Does this work with Bad Hygiene Lite?
GremlinAnticsVHS 11 Jan, 2020 @ 12:13pm
So is the mod broke or is there a work around?
Krausladen 10 Jan, 2020 @ 5:28pm
Oof. @Kentington hasn't been on in 39 days.
Krausladen 10 Jan, 2020 @ 1:35pm
Why not just add a building that outputs water instead of making changes to both mods?
cje0340 8 Jan, 2020 @ 6:20am
doesn't work,,, my spaceship was torn
Anon 23 Dec, 2019 @ 2:05pm
Doesn't work anymore
Reprogrammed Automaton 22 Dec, 2019 @ 1:08pm
Its generating a null token every tick now.
Nuserame 17 Dec, 2019 @ 8:35pm
Life support no longer seems to generate any water, its got a pump/ground capacity of 0/0.

@zombienerd Had a similar issue. Either install a thermometer, or set the boiler to ignore the thermo. The same thing happened on my surface base, so this may be a Dub's issue.
zombienerd 6 Dec, 2019 @ 6:47pm
Electric Boilers get hot. Fill hot water tanks. But they don't seem to transfer it to radiators.

My ship is cold. I don't want to jam electric heaters everywhere. Ideas?
Infern03 6 Dec, 2019 @ 4:17am
@WylTrykon - not as intended currently, the life support will act as a pretty much infinite water source. how ever as a bit of a in game work around you can build pumps in space and they will work.
your plumbing room will need a bit more space but when it get patched im hoping i can just swap it back over to the life support
WylTrykon 5 Dec, 2019 @ 9:24pm
3 things:

First, thanks for the SOS2 mod and this patch!

Second, I can confirm the patch seems to be out of date/out of sync with Bad Hygiene. Thanks for coming up with a workaround, bonesbro. I'm intimidated by even simple file editing and manipulation, so I'm not going to try it myself, but it's folks like you and all the modders who make the Rimworld community awesome.

Third, I too am confused about water/life support. I can fill up the life support unit with water by hooking the ship up directly to a planetside water pumping set-up, while the ship is still under construction. But once the ship is in orbit, the water slowly drains with every flush. Now, that makes logical sense irl, since a 100% efficient water reclamation system is fantasy. But, well... so is interstellar travel. Basically: is this working as intended, or am I missing a step?

Thanks again.
Nimrod 4 Dec, 2019 @ 9:20pm
Thanks man!
bonesbro 4 Dec, 2019 @ 1:18pm
Recompiling it yourself will work too :) Just open the solution and rebuild. After you rebuild, go to the Assembly folder and delete the copy of hugslib and harmony that the build process drops in there. Having duplicate copies of hugslib breaks rimworld.
Kekmeister 4 Dec, 2019 @ 12:54pm
After i just downloaded VS to recompile it myself...
Well, thank you anyway.
bonesbro 4 Dec, 2019 @ 12:21pm
Until Kentington is back I have a temporary fix you can use. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhSz4AnXbf9Ri5g8Q6Nvl4uM-3AzDw?e=9ct0jk has an updated HygieneInSpace.dll. Overwrite the one in steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1910681256\Assemblies. Dubs has updated Bad Hygiene so that it has a static DLL version now so in theory the new fix should keep working even after he pushes out a new version,
Kekmeister 3 Dec, 2019 @ 9:19am
Yep. Patch's broken since the new Dub's Hygiene patch.
Infern03 3 Dec, 2019 @ 4:33am
@bobthefarmer1 i believe a recent patch has stopped this from working, my planetary conquest is on hold until we get the plumbing sorted
Bobthefarmer1 2 Dec, 2019 @ 4:37pm
Does this actually recycle water? I havent seen any water getting produced.
Nimrod 29 Nov, 2019 @ 11:56pm
@bonesbro: Cheers!
bonesbro 29 Nov, 2019 @ 10:51pm
I'll look at doing that tomorrow, since Kentington seems to be out of town.
