I'm late to the party, but I just needed to say this is easily one of my fave custom classes. He takes some getting used to, but a tanky stress healer that can, with a little planning and luck, wipe out an entire enemy party in one turn is fun times. And if you decide that the rabble before you are not worthy of The Devil Driver, I love that you can 'build up' over several fights, saving it for the boss or if the collector or The Thing shows up. I don't like extra inventory stuff as a rule, but its just so thematic I can't complain.

Very clunky to use and quite slow to boot. On the flipside, when used with OG crew, he will not overshadow or outperform them. Really interesting thoughts but the execution leaves something to be desired...

Hello everyone. This mod hasn't been completely abandoned. Development has stopped, but will receive a patch for the recent update soon. Thank you to everyone who downloaded my mod.

Hello @a.n.dre. I used a actor_dot to make a effect trigger "after_turn_attack_kill" on a skill. "after_turn_attack_kill" does what it says on the tin, it triggers a effect if a monster is killed with the attack. Look under "raid\actor_dot" for the actor_dot file. For the the effect, look in the effects file for "Grand Slam Gain Action". For more information, I would go to the modding Discord ask for help. Hope I was able to help!

Very interesting mod! I was wondering how you did the on kill gain 2 actions part. I have read your mod files, and I just don't understand how you were able to do it! It would be great if you could explain briefly how you did it! Well done sir

Yeah, but custom animations are expensive, from what I hear, you need a program that costs 300 dollars. that is why it is usually just art over an existing skeleton instead.

The idea of a bjj/grappling fighter in the DD is great - would be interesting, if the hero had his own art and animations (and not just the reskin of the leeper)

Current State Of The Mod: I happy where this project is right now. There's not update planned in the future. "Devil's Comin" might need buffs/nerfs idk. I'm gonna wait for some feedback on that before I do anything. Thank you to every one who have used my mod! :winter2019happyyul:

You' re welcome, I love unique mechanics, and that' s what attracted me to this one. The theme is on point. And even if grapple doesn't always lead to a successful throw, that acc debuff and block is worth it. Devil Driver is so satisfying after it got changed, the anticipation of building up stacks and rewarding its use at a right time to earn double action points.
I also like that Opponents can knock you out of clinch, thematic and a fun limitation you have to maneuver.
Since damage dealing is not guaranteed, I see his role is Tank/Stress healer.
The way these abilities work together while following a theme show much more talent then someone making another boring damage dealer that swings a sword,
So don't be happy that someone likes your 'dumb' mod, be happy someone likes your 'creative' mod.

@Stray Inu I'm happy at least someone likes my dumb mod. Thx for the suggestions. I really like the idea. I actually thought about doing the riposte grapple but went with something else. If the current "Devil's Comin" skill is too bad to use, I'll definitely look at reworking it again.

Hi Mr. Cthulhu, as always I am checking out your updates ^_^
I like the Idea, but in the game people like to minimize chance, and low accuracy makes people a little more scared to use it versus the more reliable skills. I would only feel safe to use it with the reworked trinket.
Though if you do want another GRab move idea, I do have one if you would like, or just ignore it if you dont ^_^
how about a counter grapple:
a one time riposte that when hit marks and switches you to clinch, also buffs your dodge for a round.
kinda like in mma or Judo, when someone punches, you counter and get them into a hold.

The Grappler Update 1.4 is Released!
Patch Highlights: REWORKED I'm Coming skill Renamed to "Devil's Comin": Now works like "Grab" skill. No Longer riposte but can target any rank, moves you forward, and pulls the target.
Buffed base damage and health. Grappler now does way more dmg.

Oh nice, so far I enjoy him, but I do admit I am having more use for him as a stress healer then his wrestling moves, being vulnerable to dots make it that I usually get to pull off wrestling moves every other battle(I even have two trinkets that increase dodge) but when I do, it is so satisfying.

The Grappler Update 1.1 is Released!
Patch Highlights: "Devil Driver" On Kill gains 2 action points. Skills: Hype Up, Bear Hug buffed to be more useable. Also, Mod Page looks better.

I'll always love flashy good looking mods from Marvin and Seal, etc. but mods like these are just are great too! I love wrestling and I'm glad to see in one of my favorite games, hope to see more in the future keep it up!

Current State Of The Mod: There's going to be a patch soon addressing the localization issues currently present. Besides that, I don't have any balance updates planned. I might add more trinkets in the future though.

@Smuckem Glad a wrestling fan likes it! I'm not a wrestling mark at all but I am interested. The wrestling theme just came about in development.
