Cool mod, even if your not a Trek fan, adds a badass sword to the game. If you use two-handed then get this mod.

As the text above says, normally you're supposed to get the steel smithing perk and craft your own Bat'leth, like Kahless once did.

Or, if that just won't fit in your build, pull down the console and do a

help dahar

to find their ids. Then use player.additem with one or more of those ids, and voila, they'll be beamed down to you from a cloaked Bird Of Prey in orbit :p

No problem. Weird, though. I'm pretty sure this one shouldn't need a new game. But then, when you have one big pot of mods that can interact in any number of unforessenable ways, I suppose crap can happen.

started working when I started a new game. I had a few mods that weren't showing up. In one of the mod threads it told me to start a new game then load load my game up once i got into the keep ... and they are all working now including this one. Thank you

Hmm... Weird. Try looking in Data Files in the launcher to see if it's been downloaded and activated, then try again if it's there. Sometimes Steam takes some time.

Well, mostly because in Skyrim, just as in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, to the best of my knowledge you can REPLACE existing weapon animations, but not ADD NEW ones. So basically to make this one be hold right, I'd have to screw up all other 2h swords.

Basically I'll even agree with you that, yes, this isn't the proper animation for a bat'leth, but I'm also not looking to screw up the rest of the game. I'm sure you'll understand.

Why don't you make a better animation for holding and using the weapon?It's not sopposed to be used as a sword it was used as a greater form of blades a larger form of the foreblade to allow easier block,counteringand flexible strickes,also I kinda need a wepon like this for the empire,just (like I said) with the actual power instead of the animation you put on it.

"help dahar" tells you all 4 ids, including the ever important first 2 digits, for your current mod load order. Yay for skyrim making that easier than ever, really. Just use the ids verbatim in player.additem and there you go, genuine Klingon bat'leths are beamed down to you from a cloaked bird of prey in orbit :p

Heh. Probably just someone trying to be funny. I'm not aware of Klingons even having a bird even remotely similar to a chicken, or mentioning one on screen. So, yeah, it would be strange to have a proverb about an animal you don't have, isn't it?

Plus, you may have noted that all alien animals ever mentioned on screen are made to sound more exotic. E.g., Romulans don't have an eagle on their ships and banner, they have a raptor. Klingons don't hunt boars, they hunt targs. (And keep some as pets.)

Even when some animal does have an earth-like name, it has some alien sounding adjective as part of it. E.g., gree worm, grishnar cat. And/or by some planet of origin. E.g., Arcturian dog bird.

The purpose, after all, is to have a SF show with lots of references to alien planets and cultures. You don't think they'd actually make the Klingons mention chickens, right? :p

Excellently done. Also the Klingon Bat'leth is pretty similar to Vol'jin Darkspear's glaive. Star Trek and WoW. Win/Win for me. :D

not too familiar with Klingon lore so maybe you can answer this one, i am aware the quote "At least I have chicken" is attributed to Leeroy Jenkins, but I've recently seen it attributed as "ancient Klingon proverb". This a real thing or was it just a troll?
