slightly conflicts with VWE - coilguns but a good mod nonetheless [the texture filename of the gauss rifle in VWE and the texture of the m72 rifle in this mod are the exact same if you're asking whats the issue]

I don't really love the idea. It would make it a little less integrated into the base game mechanics and it wouldn't feel very logical with other mods and mechanics if these weapons had to be made at their own workbench. I understand your concern, it is a lot, but I'll have to think about how it could be done in a way I really find satisfactory. I could patch over vanilla guns to the gunsmithing table or whatnot but that wouldn't help with other mods. It's a tricky proposition.

I ask in all courtesy, it makes it really difficult for me to search for weapons among all those on the basic workbench

There would have to be a compatibility patch made. I don't use any mods with ammo personally so it is unlikely going to come from me unfortunately.

They'll be for sale from vendors, found on raiders/traders, rewards from quests, etc. They'll be everywhere.

Anyone know of a way to easily have this mod replace all weapons from the Brotherhood Compendium mod? I feel like the balance and sprites from this mod are superior, but still want all the other things Brotherhood Compendium brings.

I have opted not to make a patch as I do not use CE and am not sufficiently familiar with it to do so, in my opinion. If someone is so inclined as to make a patch, I don't mind.

I know this certainly isn't compatible with CE, but I'll just put it out there that I would use it if it worked with CE. Though it really is up to you, so I'll respect your decision (of doing a patch or not). I have no doubt it must be complicated to make a weapons mod compatible.

Black Isle was an Interplay subsidiary and created Fallout 1 and 2.

Interplay shut down Black Isle studios and produced that dumpster fire of a game B.O.S.

Fallout was created by Interplay, not Black Isle. Black Isle did make a Fallout game, but their game never made it out of development.
