This can be made significantly smaller since the unloader changes in v7.

Is it working on v7?

It's not here, I used this logic in the past.
Smelters and lead unloaders are enabled, silicon and copper unloaders are disabled.
I have 10k+ of each resource, already set the limit to lower values and to 0, nothing changed.

Thanks!

nice

The last schematic here, the standalone 3 smelter design, does not require attaching to cores.

Confirmed it works. Pity this for only cores. I made one and uploaded for Vaults anyways in the workshop . Thanks killall --quiet.

Afirm, thank you very much.

The "X" indicates that the logic disabled the smelters because your core was below the limit on some of the inputs. The default limit is 4000 of each input, this can be lowered by editing the logic.

Disregard, that was really weird. It decided to activate out of nowhere. I figured it would have started right away being that I had thousands of each resource, but had just a few hundred surge alloy.

When I hover over each of the smelters, they have an 'X' on them.

I set up the schematic according to the screenshot, I got the largest core, with the 3 vaults, and the correct orientation of the schematic. For some reason it won't activate. The unloaders pulled all the required resources, but it won't turn on. I also tried toggling the on/off switch.

Ginjama, you are using the schematic incorrectly. The left side with all the unloaders must be in contact with the core, in order to unload resources from the core. That means you must have largest core with core vaults placed around it as shown in the above screenshots, to make it wide enough to accommodate this schematic.

For smaller cores, you can use the narrow 3 smelter design.

Just for everyone's reference. This doesn't work in v6.0+

Place the top edge in contact with the core. You will need to place vaults around the core for it to have a wide enough flat side. The unloaders will withdraw the needed items from core storage, then deposit surge alloy in the core.

I feel dumb for asking but where are you meant to input the 4 different types of items?
