This was a hard one but I eventually did it after a few hours. Great work!

This has been in my queue for a very long time. Each time I came back to it, I made more progress and believed I’d thought of almost every move and set up possible, but I could not complete it. Today, I cracked it! I’d like to say that I managed it without any help, but that would be a lie, as it was only by reading, or reading, @jandlml’s last spoiler that the penny finally dropped!
This has got to be one of the best puzzles I have ever played. Huge  and added to favourites, obviously: intended solution ?

There is a beauty to this one. Probably one of the most elegant maps on the workshop. Will be hard finding a map with a design quite like this. Faved.

Amazing map, took me some time to get to last move and that was where I was stuck and tired. The next day I finished last move in 10 minutes. Thank you for your work, hope you will get hired to design puzzles for portal 3

Amazing work! Everything except the key move in 2:55–3:30 went smoothly for me, and the main discovery was very satisfying . and favorited.

Apparently I can do the cube throw.

regret that I watched the video. It's not very difficult to remember later..
Aneonen 18 Dec, 2022 @ 3:25pm
Very tough! I had my exit condition slightly wrong for a while; the necessary setup towards the end was very subtle. I noticed the convenient wall early, but if I foolishly assumed that the order of a cube arriving on the button and its partner reaching the exit hallway was not what it needed to be!
Waldor 25 Jan, 2021 @ 3:41pm
Wow! even when I knew what I needed to do in the end it took me about 10 tries to not screw up.
Great job! Don't worry about people who say you did not do enough.

Very amazing puzzle. Though we can't say the same for visuals. There appears to have been an extreme lack of effort in the extraneous detail department. Why in the world would you only make a super convoluted puzzle but leave the room a giant square block? Why not make the the room look as intimidating as the puzzle? Why only place a bunch of fancy red lights? Why not include a bunch of useless fizzlers and a closed solid field instead of panels? Why no speed gel back to the faith plate? Why not make it a slimdificator and place it sideways on the wall? WHYYYYY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsucXHAkB2c&feature=youtu.be

Ingenious map. It took me an insanely long time to solve. I got stuck for a while in the beginning, but I managed to make progress eventually. Then came the ending sequence... just wow. It took me many hours to finally figure it out. One of the best and also hardest maps I have ever played. Thumbs up and favorited.
Nobody No-One 2 Jan, 2020 @ 7:45pm
Really clever puzzle. I did it exactly as intended. Good use of geometry and minimal connections.

Great stuff!
Hades 10 Dec, 2019 @ 10:24am
thanks. the first part was pretty easy (i was just too tired yesterday) but 2nd part... wtf dude :D :D :D its the first map i did not finish, even with your video ;) thumbs up, really nice done!!!!! (i also rated with thumbs up CAUSE its really hard)

Use the glass panels to your advantage.
Hades 9 Dec, 2019 @ 3:16pm
i cant get the laser cube to the other side. any hint? (just a hint, not a full how to)
jandlml 8 Dec, 2019 @ 5:39pm
ah haha

"Another fun fact: every portal surface is facing the same direction."

After an update to prevent some exploits, it's no longer true.
jandlml 5 Dec, 2019 @ 8:30pm
ok guys now you got me curious what is fun fact #2?
HankyMueller  [author] 5 Dec, 2019 @ 8:17pm
oof he caught me
Narkodes 5 Dec, 2019 @ 5:47pm
Fun fact #2 is a pure lie. Shame on you.

I just replayed the map. Good changes, which make the sendification to that area with the single portal surface (which is now on the opposite side) a bit more difficult
jandlml 4 Dec, 2019 @ 6:05pm
it is a great map! i think what happened was i missed the one really important part of your map design that is the fact that there is a small wall that juts out just enough to block the laser beam in the room behind the flip panels . i didnt see that part of your design until i peeked at the walkthru. and that was what i needed to finish the map. for some reason i saw that as just an open space with no wall.
HankyMueller  [author] 3 Dec, 2019 @ 11:02pm
Really sorry I didn't respond to your comment, got distracted. :(

Glad you enjoyed it, though!
jandlml 3 Dec, 2019 @ 9:29pm
ahh i had to take a peek at the walkthrough. oh well. 5 days is my limit. :steamhappy: excellent map!! faved!
jandlml 1 Dec, 2019 @ 6:19pm
ok i will try. across from the exit is an area with 2 fizzle walls and behind the second one is a portal surface. thats the area i am calling the far back area. the laser area is just the area in front of those two fizzle walls, including the area in front of the glass wall. i feel like what i need to be able to accomplish seems impossible , i just cant seem to find what i am missing. i have tried to go over in my mind every move that can be accomplished in each part of the map. i just cant find a way to set up the cubes so i can get a cube on the button that opens the flip down panel as well as the fizzle wall. so that means i need a laser beam pointed to that cube. but i also need to be standing on the grate so i can bring the other cube into that area. i cant find away to keep that area open so i can get the other cube over. am i thinking of the right move to solve or am i way off?

Updated solution video added.
HankyMueller  [author] 1 Dec, 2019 @ 1:08am
Can you elaborate on what you mean by the "far back" and the "laser area"? I'll try and help you as best I can.
jandlml 30 Nov, 2019 @ 6:41pm
this makes day 3 trying to figure this map out. i have no ideas from this point.
jandlml 30 Nov, 2019 @ 12:09am
i still am able to get one cube to the far back and the other to the laser area. but thats where i hit a snag.
jandlml 30 Nov, 2019 @ 12:07am
yup now im even more stuck. you took away what i was thinking of doing , i pretty much knew it was wrong but now i have no thoughts.
SteemStream 28 Nov, 2019 @ 12:33am
Nice simple changes to the layout, though a part of the new solution can still be bypassed by pre-aiming the red cube to the ledge infront of the airlock where there is still a wall, though it is quite a tight angle to hit, I got it on my first try.
jandlml 28 Nov, 2019 @ 12:02am
thanks
HankyMueller  [author] 27 Nov, 2019 @ 10:59pm
Probably, just to be sure. Give it another try, and if you're still stuck I can help you out.
jandlml 27 Nov, 2019 @ 9:29pm
so should i resubscribe?
HankyMueller  [author] 27 Nov, 2019 @ 9:14pm
New update, enforces a new solution. New solution video coming soon.
jandlml 27 Nov, 2019 @ 8:58pm
i am really stuck. i have one cube behind the two fizzle walls in the laser area with a portal on that surface. i have the other cube in the laser area. am i right so far. i tried to worrk backwards from the exit. but i cant see any possible moves that would get me to the set up im thinking of. anyone want to give me a teeny hint?
Teo 26 Nov, 2019 @ 1:44pm
Really really good, though I definitely needed some hand holding for that last move :P
Narkodes 26 Nov, 2019 @ 1:52am
Absolutely fantastic map.
There's one thing you're doing like no other: creating challenging maps with as few as possible portal surfaces. Big thumbs up.

Mikeastro 26 Nov, 2019 @ 12:42am
For what it's worth, I solved it as intended
lapicidas 25 Nov, 2019 @ 9:00pm
@HankyMueller After watching your video I noticed that in the second part of the map I chose another way to bring the two cubes to the very back: :steamhappy: https://youtu.be/Rtc54e0DyTo :steamhappy: The rest is the same as yours.
Joric 24 Nov, 2019 @ 5:34pm
Solution videos kind of ruin it for me I can't keep from peeking. First room was ok though.
HankyMueller  [author] 24 Nov, 2019 @ 4:37pm
Fun fact #3: Originally this map was going to be called "Send Nudes".

The cubes are now colorful.

I'm glad everyone loves it. This map was actually finished 6 months before it's release, but I ended up losing all of my p2c files. So there's a fun fact. Another fun fact: every portal surface is facing the same direction.

lapicidas 24 Nov, 2019 @ 7:49am
Excellent challenging and logical puzzle!! Thumbs up and added to my favorites.
An additionally challenge is: the cubes are not coloured !!
I am really impressed about your ideas, you are one of the best map-creator :steamhappy::steamhappy:
Mikeastro 23 Nov, 2019 @ 4:31pm
Truly superlative map. It took me just under 90 mins to crack the whole thing. I found it fairly challenging but apart from the beginning, I never really got stuck for a very long time. Really impressive, forcing so many clever and subtle moves with so few elements. The only thing I strongly disliked was the fact that the cubes were not colourised - that would have been very helpful. Small thing: maybe go for slightly less fancy angled panel doors, because now they are retracted 1/4 into the wall so you have to put the laser cube under a slight angle for the first sendification that sends another cube all the way to the back wall behind the two fizzlers. Not the end of the world, but it did cause me to have to redo the set-up. Other than that, fantastic work. Definite favourite :]
