I could only stop in space by wedging the fighter in a bay door... I'm gonna try that modified version.

Thanks Boomer, SkeL and wolf4243! This was really an experiment on the flight model change from before to see how a lower cost glider like ship would work. I guess I haven't built anymore like this one :). Thanks again!

This ship looks nice but it was very unstable it can't stand in air or rolls up and down you should add engins on sides and below...

Dont know if its only for me but I tried to fly it in space but couldn't turn :(
Also its almost impossible to stop the movement in space.

I must admit, I stuck a thruster on the underside of it XD (you can barely see it). I flew it into the MCRN nest and promptly got it stuck. (kept making the docking noise over and over and could not tilt the nose up for forward momentum)... I feel like that might just be a me only thing though XD

Thank you Boomer and DeadMechGaming! I agree, this one was an experiment with the new flight model and the only ship I made to date that doesn't have 6 direction thrust. It was done on a Tier 1 to maximize other things like storage saving CPU by running far less thrusters. However it does turn but I normally use the Q and E keys to lean into the direction turning for faster turning speed. Having 1 front thruster, it can kind of stay in the air not in motion and not fall to the ground like an airplane. Thanks again all!

It doesn't have any thrusters in any other direction except for forward and reverse, and it doesn't have many RCS's.... so yes, thats normal.

This design is more of an atmospheric fighter. The collection is lacking a space fighter from what I can tell, which sucks at the moment.

Thank you Mechanic and TerryBeer16! @Mechanic, SE does look cool. I been checking out some the you tube creation videos for it. I am kind of engrossed in this game thou and SE would certainly take some time to learn it well. So that part is rough. To answer question, no I haven't tried it. Thank you Mechanic! IDK, I think my mind just randomly thinks of new things to build all the time or new ideas to try. I got a long list of things I want to build or try out yet. lol. I am a fan of sci-fi ships, even modern military ships etc. So I tend to study shapes etc and try and figure out what I like about them and then try to get some form of that into the builds or a general style. I have done this same thing most of my life and built many other 3D things for other games or modelling projects as well. But I am pretty happy with Empyrion as you can make stuff look pretty decent with voxels much quicker than modelling them out with 3d max, Maya, blender, etc and they can get used by players right away. And thanks again!

Thanks Jeff, this is beautiful. I have NO 3D design skills what so ever. All I turn out is flying boxes so I love taking your incredible looking designs and modding them to my use which makes me feel like I'm part of the design process.. LOL designing vicariously! Thanks again for all your effort. It makes the game enjoyable. AND thanks for dealing with the new CPU restrictions .
