This took me over two hours! Fun though. Spent 20 minutes just finding ways to equip my NPCs cause they all ran out of ammo.

It may have a bad link to a static object but the mission still works. Thought I'd go to the castle to get eyes into Oreokastro and identify the defences. That was interesting. This was a long mission for me as I looted everything because my men were running out of ammo after the dump. That's quite a list of tasks at the end, but very well done. Thumbs up. Now for episode 2.

Are you planning on updating this campaign ? Loading the first mission gives an error about unknown link to static object, making it doubtful that the mission will work. Some update obviously broke it (as usual -_-)

Great campaign! I had played one or two missions before,but I have decided to play the whole thing-and having just finished the epically long first mission..this kicks ass! Thanks mate :steamhappy:

Great start into the campaign - I enjoyed this one really much. And I loved that you could make a decision on which vehicle you wanted to go on with.

Not that the first episode of Brief Lives was not one of the best of yours, though. I just think that for good campaigns the first mission usually gets the most attention not necessarily because it's the best, rather because it's the first.

Thanks - this was my first epic mission - it's got the most subscribers and positive ratings.

Sorted a couple of triggers to include a surrender script so you don't have to chase down odd CSAT stragglers

I've been meaning to go back to this and change the trigger on the fight at Oreo Kastro to include a surrender script, so that you don't need to hunt down the last stragglers - or be shot by them after getting the all-clear....

Right - back to the useful comments - I've changed the helos final waypoints so that it cycles, rather than hovering when it detects no enemy units.

PS - the heli eventually just hovered in one spot on my mission as well.. after taking out the two AI survivors on my team. hahaha

Amazing mission! I thought it would be a rather short one... finally ended up killing 50+ foes and getting killed a large number of times (especially by being rolled over by friendly AI).
By the end of the mission the choper was just hovering above the factory, doing nothing. Is that normal? Any way great mission Se'Kara, looking forward to play the others!

If you look in collections for 'brief lives' for this series of 10 missions, search 'andros 2020' for 9 more missions based on andros' time in the aaf, and 'eternal daeva' for csat missions of the invasion of altis, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'm working through the whole campaign, ep 2 was similar, I thought it was going to be a quick one, an hour later...still, good fun. Im on the third one now, kinda plannng the assault on the garrison.

Damn that was hard, I assumed it would be a cute short mission, but NOOOO its long and tricky as hell. there were points where it was just me clearing towns alone.

But I finished it, with only 16 reverts, lol.

What a challenge. But I did like it.

It is the longest, and arguably the most difficult of the series. I can complete it in about 40 minutes, taking advantage of the recruitment option and abandoning Syrta to CSAT. I don't expect anyone to survive the final fight the first time round. :-P Killing the officer at Kore sets events in motion that will annihilate you if you're not prepared. There's a couple of reasons I called the series Brief Lives. 153 geek points to anyone who can identify the other reason.....;-)

that was ment to be a joke :) It is a very difficult mission with this unknown number of enemy patrols. Obdaining some intel on these patrols would be very valuable.

Extremely easy mission! I completed it in 30 mins because STEAM had all AI banned (LOL) for aimbotting and wallhacking! Yes! anticheat works equally for all, human or not xD

At this point, everyone was dead except the mechanic that repairs the vehicle at the scrapyard. (so I guess 6 free spaces)

how many people do you have in your squad? It'll only add people up to max of 8. I'll have a look into it later and make sure it's all working ok.
