ça y est, j'ai réussi à améliorer cette base au maximum en mettant tout ce qui est possible et en la laissant le plus compact possible. ça en fait une vraie petite villa bien économique qui n'a rien à voir avec ta base originale mais jamais je te remercierais assez pour m'avoir donné l'inspiration de faire cette 'Villa' dont je me sert encore ^^ (dans l'espace en ce moment)

Moi c'est pareil je suis pas très bon en base, en faite je préfère les petits vaisseaux quand je cherche à faire quelquechose de beau. Mais la le Brisk n'est pas du tout dans le style mais plutôt dans la fonctionnalité.

Je vais essayer tiens, je vais tenter de faire une base avec plein de tes 'Brisk BX3', j'aime bien le concept de base compacte avec murs fins. Je suis nul en design mais ça c'est mon style, ça me rappelle ma toute première base que j'ai faite (en alpha9) ^^

En faite elle ne sont pas collés, c'est des panneaux solaires que tu peux ajouter. Sinon on ne peux pas coller des bases entre elles tu as raisons. Pour les bases modulaires jrandall travaille dessus mais il me semble que ça ne peut fonctionner qu'en mode Créatif. C'est à dire assembler la base puis la sauvegarder pour la faire apparaitre en mode Survie

C'est intéressant, mais es-ce qu'on peut vraiment coller deux bases comme ça dans le jeu? ça serait cool de faire des bases modulaires. J'en cherche une d'ailleurs si tu en connais, je suis tout ouïe ^^

You perfectly understand the voxel system, you explained it perfectly. You can't build inside a voxel however you can move inside. When you build something you need space for equipements. Do you want them on the wall (1) ? or do you want a little space to move (2)? (1) full block or the good side of a thin block. (2) only thin blocks or an empty space

i've been trying to build a decent base for a while now, instead of always using the factory, is it best to do the walls with solid cubes, and when or what would the thin walls be good for as well? seeing as if you use thin walls for the outside wall you cant put anythign next to them because the whole voxel is occupied by the thin wall? any help would be greatly appreciated

You can publish whatever you want. But to be successful when you don't have a reputation yet, you have to publish something really useful or really beautiful. It can also be interesting to participate in competitions to make yourself known. Currently, I would say that it's not a good idea to publish because there are a lot of good creators who monopolize the top 8 of the week. and also newcomers with great potential who are overshadowed.

I modified a version of this that is about twice as wide and has a gen and fuel tank fridge and food proc. I just might upload it mention you. Now for another Question: Can you make & publish a starter home that is even more bare bones, say with nothing but the floor, walls, roof and door? Just an idea lol (to be made even faster and easier, maybe use wood instead?)

Please don't get me wrong, this is a great starter (level 3!!) base. In fact in our co-op game I told my partner will will be limiting ourselves to only using SI BP's

Lol, the other possibility was to use the tent to skip the night.

I made the mistake of spawning this in at night lol. I was like where is the fuel tank? So I built a tank and gen and was right as rain. Good early game shelter for protection from rads, weather, and animals. Just keep in mind you will have to either expand this (big time) or build another base as time goes by. But for the first 20 min or so, this can be a lifesaver

Fantastic! I got this base built and running in about 15 minutes of landing. Such a handy little base to use as a warehouse or storage. Additionally, it's great for sheltering if the need arises! Fits a fridge too for food storage if you use this at the start.

I created it to help new players, but you've right, in desert environments it must be even more useful.

This is a perfect little starter for harder scenarios where resources are tight (like a swamp or similar starts). I expanded the power as you showed and built a little 15 plot greenhouse inside that spot. Combined with your entry level defense tower, I had a great base right away on the cheap. Good work!
