You really have the best logic existing so far. Do you know Portal 2? Well, there is 2 versions of Portal, and I want a set of objects made from primitives that are basically the stuff from Portal 2. Also, can you make mods? The glass tubes need invisible vacuums and the excursion funnels need some special mechanics for keeping stuff inside and moving. Also, if you don't know about Portal 2, install that game and learn about it.
