I know exactly which song I'm using this with.

I cannot wait to see the Sonic skin for this.

Just like Sonic 2's special stages. Now if only we could use a second player...
Glyde 7 May, 2014 @ 4:43pm
perfect with wii classic controller :D

Awesome mode, but please make it controllable with mouse and less delayed. ^^

The friction is a bit too strong. Perhaps play Sonic 2's special stages and see how they feel compared to this?

reminds me of jak 3, where there were these subrail missions. you should see them.

@8bitboyflipnote use Xpadder or JoyToKey if you really want to play with controller.

@Fizar: Do you hear that wooshing sound?
Great mod!
I would suggest changing the counter for the song sections to use seconds instead of rings, because the average user doesn't know what rings are.
Also: It might be by design, but it's really hard to 'aim' your vehicle if you have to change direction from left too right, I would prefer it having react sooner instead of the realistic momentum change.

@JordanU, probably sonic, This mod is awesome! Thanks

I feel like the rings are referencing something....must be my imagination

Pushing an update through that pulls the collision window a bit closer to the player. See if that feels more natural.

Also, forgot to say, I'm sorry that you kinda wound up being the beta tester for this one, but I really appreciate the feedback.
HyperGeek  [author] 5 Nov, 2013 @ 5:52pm
Gotcha. Looking into it now.
Dopefish 5 Nov, 2013 @ 5:51pm
so yeah, too early.
Dopefish 5 Nov, 2013 @ 5:50pm
I dunno... Mostly it's that I only collide with the rings if they are a good distance in front of me.
HyperGeek  [author] 5 Nov, 2013 @ 5:49pm
Wonky how? Sorry, I largely suspect I'm just used to it at this point, so you're going to have to give me some more help. Collides too early, too late, in too wide an arc?
Dopefish 5 Nov, 2013 @ 5:47pm
The collision is very wonky!
