So first i'll give you the non-spoilery answer: think of a specific vendor that sells the high-end, top quality weapons, as well as other tech artifacts of the old world. All three part blueprints for the Cyberfang have a chance to appear on that vendor on any given day (tho it is not a huge chance....)

@TheAshby Thank you! If I get back to modding this game in the future there's the potential that I'll add more weapons, but it'll be a bit before I get back to it.

and i enjoy seeing weapons look unquie mabye u could update and make each weapon have a custom skin couild be the best mod on the karket
Could you make an alt model that is exactly the same but the blade is curved to resemble a katana more?
Also, is there a simple way to change the glow textures? I can't seem to find them so I assume there aren't any and the colors are generated from somewhere else, thanks!
- Extra bonus on Yellow variant removed, all are +1/+1 now
- Icons created for all four color variants
- Icons in .\Cyberfang Katana\icons\ named so they override Kenshi's auto-generation of icons from mesh
- Minor typo fix somewhere in there
NOTE TO USERS:
Once this fix goes in, you should go into Kenshi\data\icons - yes the base game folder - and look for anything with "Cyberfang" in the name. These are the old broken transparent auto-generated icons. Delete them. The new icons SHOULD override any existing auto-gen, but if you download the fixed version and still see transparent icons, that's why - remove those files and all will be well.

....I might be halfway-done making a patch already lol. Once I figured out what was going on I was most of the way towards fixing it anyway. What's the best way to get the files to you?
you CAN override autogen, but you must use that naming convention. So you need to make 4 icons, one for each color, each one with the same name except the number of the MATERIAL ID being correct for color. Also you must match the dimensions for weapon icons, in this case 512x64.
I created a fixed icon, in this case named for the Blue variant, and named it as in my previous comment, and put THAT in your mod's icons director, after correcting the resolution and scaling the image to fit neatly inside it. Now I have a correct and visible icon :).
